Please do more of these!!! I love this so much, I also like how your meals are things that even I can find and afford. Your so down to earth with all of your information and thats just amazing to me. You get tired of seeing all the fake bodybuilders after a while and I just love what your channel has turned into. It would be cool if you could give more information about the RP templates later on day the line, ive seen a few people use them but the calculations just seem so complicated to me, I want to give it a try but im so hesitant. Keep up the great work!! Your boo is pretty filpping awesome too BTW

You can, depending on your daily activity level. Take me, for example, I am 165cm in height, 56kg in weight and my bmr is about 1400, so I try to move as much as I can throughout the day and at the end of the day I do a 20 minute jog or more if I'm feeling like it, nothing high intensity and et voila, as the French would say. Of course, if you have as much muscle as lovely Meg here, you probably won't need the 20 minute jog at all, your total daily expenditure will be higher just from having the extra muscle on you. Hope that helped! I was eating a 1600 calorie diet while cutting for about 2 months and it was hard. Not so much from lack of food, but for lack of variety and treats because I was trying to eat 120-130 grams of protein every day

At my lowest 133lbs I maintained on 2700 calories. Height, weight, neat (non exercise activity thermo genesis) and exercise intensity /duration /frequency all add up to one's caloric intake needs. Not all women or men at x weight maintain on the same amount. I'm 156lbs now and 2400 is a caloric deficit for me at 5'7 with a lightly active neat and lifting 4x per week. Free MFP, tdee calculator, food scale, and any food I like is all I have needed.

Hey megsquats, try the Femmycycle menstral cup. That shit doesnt come out even when you're lifting heavy/exerting yourself. i surf and kept having the Diva cup slip on me when I would pop up too hard. I've had a diva cup for almost 10 years; I usually don't even take other cups seriously because they use dyes but FemmyCycle actually looks like a step up, it has a very smart design. I'm gonna try it out!
@pmaj61
@pmaj61 6 жыл бұрын
teenage spaceland Yes, it's design is genius and has never failed on me. It is the only product i've ever used that has made me forget that I am on my period, because it is so damn secure and leak/spill proof. I know I sound like a commercial, but I just want to spread the word on how awesome they are, especially for us really active ladies who don't like to be sidelined by our period. I'm so excited for you to try it!!! Yay!! hahah
@lenisemicolon
@lenisemicolon 6 жыл бұрын
I can officially report that the FemmyCycle is superior! DivaCup was about 85% worry free compared to other options but FemmyCycle seems to be 100%; totally worry free. It's twice as big as the DivaCup though so getting it in and out was a little more tender than I'm used to, but that may just be from me getting used to where it goes. Thanks for the recommendation! I don't keep up with menstrual cup trends so I could have easily never heard of this. I think I'll continue to use my DivaCup for light/low-impact days since for now it's easier/faster to insert but I've already started preaching the gospel of the FemmyCycle :D
@pmaj61
@pmaj61 6 жыл бұрын
Yasss preach girlllll! It's awesome to hear that you're enjoying it - thanks for the update! I definitely agree that it takes a little getting used to the placement, but that'll get easier and faster over time and the more you mess with it. I find that putting it in and/or taking it out while i'm in the shower can help sometimes. And, everyone is different, but I have found that I cramp less because the material is softer. wooohooo!!!

Jennifer Applebaum I don’t have the shorts and I’m not a runner, but I’ve lifted in the thong and haven’t had any issues! They fit me really nicely. I think as long as you don’t have a *super* heavy flow, the thong is good enough for a gym session. I think they hold a tampon’s worth of blood. But they have all different styles that hold more than that too. The shorts hold two tampons worth and are for running, I think. :)

This is really interesting! Question: What about beer and alcoholic drinks? Do you just skip those for 13 weeks? Orrrr save a drink here and there for special occasions? And if you do have a drink, say beer, do you count the carbs on RP even though they're not healthy carbs? Also, yay nutritional yeast! "Nooch" for short. Great on popcorn or broccoli or pasta or beans/tacos.

Man I wish pre workout worked for me. It doesn’t work if I take it two days in a row, but when I do take it every now and again it makes SUCH a difference. Coffee doesn’t give me energy either :( I don’t have caffeine throughout the day so I don’t just have a high tolerance or anything, it just doesn’t work on me and I wish I knew why D:
@RoastedSaltedPeanut
@RoastedSaltedPeanut 5 жыл бұрын
Maybe combining caffeine with a good pre -workout meal would help. I would eat a giant meal before my workout and feel sluggish. I've been focusing on having a small carb heavy meal like some oatmeal with fruit before hitting the gym and I feel a lost more energetic.
