here’s how i’m working on improving my handwriting. you don’t need all the supplies that i used, but since we’re stuck at home and have more free time than usual, i thought i might as well go all out! if you don’t have a printer, you can practice while using your phone/computer as reference. i hope this is helpful, and, if nothing else, i hope you’re brave enough to be bad at something new!

As a teacher who lived through the removal of cursive handwriting from the grammar school curriculum, I can’t tell you how happy I am to see it make a resurgence. It is a meditative practice and wonderful for kids who have dyslexia, as counterintuitive as that may seem. There are also children with something called “dysgraphia,“ which makes handwriting quite tough for them. But they, too, can hugely improve their handwriting if their teacher shows patience and humor.

Also finding the types of pen that their ink dry faster also important for neat handwritting. So yeap, my handwritting similar to this girl and I use these type of handwritting in my school work and in exam.

When I was a kid I loved practicing cursive. Now because of that I have really nice cursive writing. Practice really does work. After a while your hand has muscle memory and the letters and transitions can become really smooth. For everyone who is practicing, don’t give up. You’ll get where you want to be. 😃 and never forget to not compare yourself to others. You never know how much someone has practiced and what work they have put into something. Being perfect is not everything and sometimes a little bit of quirkiness makes your handwriting unique to you and makes it that much more representative of you. 🙂

You really accomplished your goal, your handwriting is beautiful! Two years ago I took up writing with fountain pens and it has been a joy. Thank you for your encouragement and experience. I have noticed in my writing some of the pitfalls you mentioned, especially failing to always write slowly and focus on making the letters accurately. I have sometimes let my attention wander and caught myself slipping back into old hurried habits. Thanks for sharing your handwriting practice and skill. Best wishes from Ohio.

📖 I've completed this notebook!! Watch the finished journal flip-through here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z-CYgdVim83Ok5c.html Please don't feel like you need to go through the extra steps that I did in order to improve your handwriting. I just had this idea in mind and I needed a way to relax and unwind so I thought I'd film the process. But, as I showed at the beginning, there are quicker and easier ways to go about it. *Writing neatly is a skill that comes in handy when you NEED/want to write neatly, so don't feel like your personality shouldn't come through your individual handwriting.* If you don’t have a printer, you can practice while using your phone/computer as reference. Happy handwriting and be safe, everyone!💕

I had the problem of actually only knowing how to write in cursive and never knew how to write print fonts so I started practicing to learn a new font and was happy with it. Then school started and the teachers are too impatient so I went back to cursive writing and my muscle forgot how to write in print fonts. Finally now in the quarantine period I started over and I can see some improvements. Thank You for this motivational video!

During highschool i was well known to the entire students and teachers as the school were i joined as the student with the best cursive handwriting. And teachers often asked me to write application letters for the test to be a national officer (PNS) and, i left mybooks at school for my accounting teacher who loves cursive handwriting so much for him to show to myjuniors about it and they used it as reference to write instead of textbooks. Bcz we wrote all the matery for the subjects there. And myjuniors used to ask for me, where is senior ....? Then when i looked at them they would say that myhandwriting is so beautiful. I dont know how beautiful it was really. Because now myhandwriting is a great messy, keep changing in font and size, but if i write slowly, surely myhandwriting is still look good. But who can write slowly all the time? Too much work to do. 😄😄

I relate to this so so so much. I was the kid in school whose notebook was taken by the teachers at the end of the year to serve as a guide for the next year just because I had really nice handwriting as a child. But growing up, life got busier and I had to get things done faster and my handwriting started deteriorating so fast that I hated my own handwriting as well. There had been times I couldn't read my own college notes just because I wrote too fast. This video makes me want to go back ad change just that

You have beautiful handwriting . I grew up with print and in high school cursive. I'm so glad they're bring cursive back. It really was created for two major things : 1. to write continuous and with a flow for much less writing strokes 2. It's elegant and very artistic which in turn has shown more thought process , and brain excitement. Thank you for the video and your tips. I'm going to try it and hopefully be has half as good as you .

This is a very interesting video . I liked that this person took the time to improve her writing and will be a skill that will last the rest of her life. I noticed the use of a calligraphy pen with a nib or a fountain pen. This makes one's writing very different and does take practice. I write in cursive most of the time. I was signing a paper in a store and the clerk kept staring at what I was doing. I thought I was doing something wrong. But then she said.... you have the most beautiful handwriting I've ever seen. That was quite a compliment but it wasn't necessarily true... it's just that young people in this country have not been taught how to write in cursive for almost 40 years now. My grandchildren can't even read my handwriting nor do they write in cursive. That's sad for two reasons. One, many people won't be able to read old letters, journals, and documents. It will be like a foreign language to them. And secondly, because technology won't always be there. Technology must have a power source which can go out or stop at any time. But you can always pick up a pen or pencil and write.
