I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

@@SantiagoWyatt- The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?

Just think of your daughters being international travelers and speaking two languages fluently! What a gift Cash. You and your wife are so lucky to be able to blend the families together and enjoy each others heritage. That never would have happened if you didnt both possess such adventurous spirits!! I have wondered if the mother was speaking any Japanese to the kids. It would be fantastic if she was, but I always hear Violet speaking English!!

Yes Violet speaks Japanese. You don’t hear her because Cashie never records conversation between V and mum - privacy I guess. I think that’s good. I can understand Japanese so I have heard Kanami talking to V in Japanese

I had the opportunity to live in Japan for a year (for work) in 2006, and it was an experience I'd never have expected to love as much as I did. If any American has the opportunity to live in another country for a bit, it's absolutely worth it, just to get the perspective of how people live in other places and other cultures.

@@lorrie5881 Im here in America waking up each morning wondering if my catalytic converter will still be on my car. I was almost mugged a year ago. Tired of depressing stories on the news everyday of bomb threats and school shootings. I live close to two schools that were shot up. Looking forward to learning more about Japan and if possible to retire there.

I love the contrast . Is a nice change for everyone to be out of a large city into a more relaxed, green , small town . That beach was so cool , just locals not a busy turist spot . These are such good memories for the kids .

Ive been watching and enjoying your New York videos for ages, and I also watch a lot of japan travel videos. So when you suddenly moved to Japan I was thrilled! I had no idea you had a family there.
