This is my story of how I managed to get my life back after 3 months after having my baby. I reached 168lbs as my highest pregnancy weight. Weighed 158lbs the day after delivering him and have gotten to 138lbs (20 lbs of weight off) in 2 months. The first 3 months of postpartum were extremely challenging for me. I was sick and struggling with physical/medical and emotional problems. Once I got my medical problems under control, I began to gain the strength to workout again and improve my diet, since then, I have seen good results. I want to encourage all moms out there to find their strength to move forward and beyond with their postpartum recovery. Maybe this journey is not about gaining our old bodies back but finding our new bodies and a new identity through motherhood. Thank you for being so supportive!
