How I Made My First Android App in 2 Days

I know I've been making web apps for a while, and that's because throughout the day, I'm usually sitting at my desk, on my laptop. I might be coding, editing, or just watching Netflix. 📺
But I've realized that for those moments pretty much throughout the rest of the day, when I want to pass time or procrastinate, I'm on my phone. In honor of this realization, I wanted try out mobile app development. Specifically, as a proud Android owner since 2015, I want to make Android Apps! 📱
I'll be following a tutorial to recreate the KZfaq app using mock data from an API. By means of this tutorial, I'll learn all the fundamentals about developing in Android. Stay tuned for more videos about Android dev in the future! 👀

What would you say the advantages are to coding mobile apps in the native languages (SWIFT, Java, Kotlin) vs. React Native? I got plans for a pretty big mobile app for both Apple and Android and I'm strongly considering React Native in order to have a single codebase for this app.

I'm not an expert on this, but the advantage of native apps (made with Swift, Java, or Kotlin) boils down to performance, making the app a lot faster. But in my opinion, if you either want to make an app for both iOS or Android, OR if you want a more seamless development experience, React Native or Flutter is the way to go.

No. There are many tools from which u can build ur app. Check JavaScript, HTML based frameworks 👍
