Ahh I needed this video. I was at my ultrasound appt for my third kid this morning and when the ultrasound tech asked what I did for a living I said I used to be a dental hygienist but now I’m a stay at home mom. I was telling her that I miss my career and I lost a lot of self worth deciding to stay home but I simply cannot leave my kids to be taken care of by someone else. It’s just not something I can wrap my brain around. I struggle everyday with self worth because of the society we’re in. Thank you!

I think what I loved most about this video is when you basically talked about our talents are already inside of us. It's just a matter of being still enough to discover what is already there, what we are already good at or passionate about. I feel like we frustrate or force so many things instead of just being still and observing ourselves. Love your videos ❤ thank you.

What you said about ~"as women, we don't have to control it all" really resonates with me. I started my channel 2 years ago and was monetized last year. But I sat on the idea for multiple years, because I didn't think I could "do it all" from the start. Your advice to just get started is exactly what I would say. You learn as you grow, and you only grow when you start. Wonderful video, as always, Madi! Thank you for your encouraging voice!! 🙏 ❤

Thank you for this! I have been feeling like I need/want a side project to direct my energy and creativity to. But honestly, I don't like social media, don't really like screens, moved to the country for privacy and peace. Plus, we're in a good place financially so I don't necessarily have to do anything. But I"m an ambitious and creative person, and my kiddos are all going to be in school next year. So now what? I've toyed with the idea of doing farm tours on our land, or opening up my land for field trips and such. Definitely need to take a few days to daydream. :)

I used to post on youtube a few years ago and stopped because, life, but now I NEED another way for myself to make money. I am a prof photographer but I am just over it, and I am passionate about homemaking and minimalism and its time I stopped ignoring that or using excuses like I am too old or have nothing to say thats not already been said. THANK YOU for this. You are one of my favorite channels and I AM SO Thankful you posted this. Thank you for igniting a flame in me I thought was gone.

2nd comment: the BEST part of my 9-5 (which is really 7pm-7:30am) is that I NEVER have to think about work, at home. I punch out & leave it behind. That’s a big fear of mine about work from home- that I’ll never be able to stop or get away from it etc. I have to say though… there is a beauty to my profession. I’m a mother-baby nurse in a hospital. It’s lovely most of the time. 😊

Like I’m trying to figure it out before it’s even had a chance to “bake”. I have to just let go and post videos and let it evolve over time and trust that I will get better at it and eventually my videos will speak to the people it’s supposed to. It definitely feels like a calling! Way to go, Mama! I had 4 in 3.5 years with twins and for a long time it was survival mode but I did what I could to find those moments to slow down…apples slices & stories with mommy, everyone having a nap or quiet time same time, snack time over books after naps…they’re now all 11 and under and it’s getting easier and my kiddos are learning that they too can choose to live simply, slow down and savor life. Bless you! 🩷

Dear Madison. I found your channel in the early days, and you have been such an inspiration to me. I would watch your videos to escape from my reality, into my dream life. And I started to think how this could become my reality, too. I am now into a good, sustainable HTAM program, which I never thought was something I could do (just all perfect people), and I can see how my future is changing from a trapped, anxious, stressful life - to a life I'm designing myself, doing the things I'm passionate about. Thank you for this channel, sharing honestly about life, values and what's possible when you break down limiting beliefs

Well, I did start one about a year ago but more or less stopped making videos because the project I started the channel for had to be on hold. We’re back to the project but I lost my momentum for content creation. Recently, I’ve felt the desire to make some more videos but I’m struggling with how I truly want the channel go. Thinking about doing a channel too. I have one, but it just has stuff I wanted to keep on it, so not a real channel lol. For some reason like 50 people have subbed to it anyway, no idea why, but I’m thinking about adding actual content. Just have to learn how to edit 😅. I have a good career, but I am SICK OF IT. I’ve been a RN for 24 years and I’m tired of it. Worn out and tired of so much responsibility. I now want to do something fun and creative and be able to work from anywhere so I can travel.

Thank you! I realize that I overthink and feel like I need to have everything figured out before I start and that I talk myself out of starting, exactly like the examples you gave. I want to reconnect to my feminine energy. I definitely am overdosed on masculine energy. :( Thank you for all your videos. You are a relaxing inspiration.

Thank you so much for these words! I really needed to hear this today and be reminded that the Most High God gave me this idea for a reason, and it would be a shame to let it go to waste❤

I joke with my nurse friends that I want to be a housewife when I grow up. (I’m 40 with 2 kids). I live vicariously through this channel. But I really am blessed that my dad retired to start watching all his grandkids 11 years ago. Sort of sad that we have to wait til retirement to enjoy childhood again though isn’t it. He has one more year left until my little guy is in kindergarten. I wonder what he’ll do then. Now I’m extra sad… dang it.

I love what you say but I really enjoy my job, not a « stay-at-home-mom » at all, I have to be productive and to be around adults, I don’t believe in God or anything. I love my kids my I hated being pregnant (always sick). But I really enjoy what you say and how you live! I think we have to find our own happiness! Have a great day!

3:34 would you say that is similar to giving birth to a baby? If all is healthy then we don't need medical intervention and inductions. We can just trust our bodies and let it do it's natural thing 😊

Wow you made it to 100k so fast and deserve it. You are not too old at all to start a KZfaq channel. . .I feel so many are your age because the whole mom of young kids thing inspires people. If you are over 40 it is much harder. There are some people in their 60s with big channels though too! I am like you who has done so many side hustles. I sold two things on the side over a decade ago, plus had my own photography business, plus I sell quilts, plus I used to stream giving advice to people on another service and made some extra money per month from monthly subscribers, but gave that up after a few years (having an infant causes issues for live streaming), plus I am a volunteer for a decade with a passion heartstring of mine, plus I do life coaching on the side (decluttering and health/wellness). I actually have a curriculum I have been working on but the whole "How do I make this?" is where I am stuck at after months of researching...plus I am on KZfaq. So yeah. . . . .. . . . . . . I have a million hobbies, interests, and passions.

I’ve been following you for a while now. I started a YT channel two years ago then stopped posting videos until I can no longer access it. Then I just started creating a new channel a month ago not knowing how it’s going to pan out but I knew in my heart I wanted to make videos. Watching this episode just confirmed that I’m doing something right with my new channel. Thank you 🫶

I feel like you were describing myself during this entire video. 🫶🏼 I know the Holy Spirit keeps bringing me back to your videos (and course that I still need to finish), to speak to me. I’ve had the desire of starting a KZfaq Channel for 2-3 years now and just haven’t. I’ve been dragging my feet on exactly what I would talk about. I feel like I have so many thoughts and wisdom in multiple areas, all thanks to my found faith. 🩷 Thank you for following the desire that was put on your heart. It’s helping so many.
