Hi, I just double the length of the original laces & trim accordingly. When using satin ribbon, you will always use more than the length of the original.

Thank you! I used about 2,500 pearls all together in different sizes to cover both sneakers. It's always best to have extra pearls.

could u use the cricut mini and if so how hot should it b and if using a heat gun should u have it on high low setting and how long should u heat it up 4??

Hi I actually have a cricut mini & I put it on high & press it down for 10 seconds. I don't have a get gun.

Do you use a certain size for the larger ribbons? I see that they come in different sizes.

Hi if you are referring to the ribbon size I use 5/8 inches. As far as the shrink tubes...the link I added has several different sizes so you can find the one that fits right.

They measure 21mm or approx 0.5" inner dia, 0.7" outer

Hi, here is a better link. This is a shrink tubing set. It has many sizes. The size I use mostly for ribbon laces is 1/8" it's the 2nd smallest size. It's also long enough to cut in half, so 1 tube can do both ends of I ribbon lace. I hope this helps you, friend 😊 amzn.to/3oxnNN1
