Amazing tips ! I am mainly using Tama kit with : - 10, 12 and 16 toms to have the "toom tom tohhhm" sound ^^ -P52G kick, kick goes brrr with enough high end -Ludwig Hammered Bronze (one of the best snare ever) at 349hz or 330hz, two very differents drums in one snare, love the sound of the 349hz. 330hz Ludwig Supra is pretty awesome too. -Yam hi hat -Grit crashes -Essential 22 Rock ride and splashes. Sometimes switching to Meld splashes Oh and much much love to the bell splash ! -Grit china, I love the 19 Hammered Zildjian China Some tweaking and that's it ! Love my kit, love the sounds. Huge fan of what you did with your drums. Looking forward to your next releases AND updates !!! Thanks a lot !

Hey a question. The overheads and room are stereo tracks - how are they panned in ML Drums, 'under the hood'? And while i'm at it, a thing that i've been pondering for quite some time, not just about drum VSTs but also real drum tracks: Say i wanted to try to match the panning of close miced hihat or ride mono track to where it's "located" in the stereo field of the overheads, does anyone know a way of determining it? A bit hard to explain, i hope you guys understand what i mean.

Regarding your second question the answer would be the cliche “use your ears” lol What I’ll do is solo the overheads and listen to the placement of whatever drum piece I’m trying to pan (hi hat, Tom’s, ride, china, fx cymbals) once I have a general direction of where it’s at I’ll make a guess with the pan knob and bring up the level up the kit piece. I’ll then mute the kit piece and re listen to the overhead to see how close I am to the stereo field placement. Then just rinse and repeat till I get it in the same spot. Can be a little tedious/time consuming but hey to each his own lol
