It's been two months, its not completely filled in. I got little straggler hairs that's coming in and they're thickening up get some biotin as well with lavender peppermint or tea tree oils

I’ve been using Haitian black castor oil on my thin spots before I use the dermaroller, I also use minoxidil on my thinning spots along with biotin. I only use minoxidil every other day cause it has an 18 hour window. So doing it every day was overkill according to the “hair show” doctors on KZfaq. It’s worked tremendously and I don’t have any really bad thinning spots any longer. I use the .5 on my face for acne scarring and my eyebrows to thicken them up. If that helps anyone. 1.5 for my scalp area.

I have a bald spot in the top/crown area of my head and thin spots in the front . I have been changing up my diet and also massaging my head to stimulate blood flow. Which size roller do you recommend? I was thinking .5 to start off. That way it’s not too harsh on the scalp

Try working your way up to the 1.5. Start with .5 then 1.0 and then 1.5.

No,never dermaroll then proceed to apply minoxidil because you “think” it would absorb better. Dermarolling will stimulate collagen production, and when you apply minoxidil right afterwards,it stops collagen production which also leads to darker damaged skin. Always wait a good bit before applying the minoxidil after dermarolling.

Guys be careful with minoxidil, I started using it but quickly stopped after reading it can cause gyno. I didn't feel like gyno was a worthy trade for a beard.

Wouldn’t recommend doing what I do but I’ve been dermarolling using 0.5 everyday for the past 30 days officially. I used the roller as a dermastamp and have seen great results already.

Yes with it minoxidil is better instead of using that go for Mielle Rosemary Mint oil. Minoxidil isn’t a magic potion because when you stop using minoxidil your hair will thin immediately so you’re basically tied to it the rest of your life. Buy Mielle hair oil, Castor Oil or Onion Oil.
