AWESOME! I think your daily phone charger, should stay plugged where you charging your phone daily, I know for experience that handling that cable everytime will cut it from inside and you'll have a big problem.

Yes the cables can be damaged when you bend them too much. I charge my phone usually twice a week and I have used this charger about 4 years and no problems. Also leaving your charger plugged in for long period isn't good idea.
