How I practice WHEELIES! | Are they dangerous? | BKLF

100 subscribers! Thanks so much for your support. As a little thank you my first 'motovlog' if that is what you can call it. Thought I would let you in on how I wheelie the KTM SMC R 690 and what I still have to learn. Let me know in the comments what you think and what else you would like to see coming!?

Great bike!! My 2022 690 SMCR will be here in a few weeks time! Can't wait to try wheelies with it! I wonder... is the bike powerful to power wheelie in first gear (mode 2)?

In either mode you can easily loop the bike in first gear by just doing a power wheelie ;)

@@bklf202 does your year let u bring front up in mode 1 mine only lets front wheel float a little in 1.. mode 2 gives me full ability to loop her lol. But yes you can easily loose her in 1-2 gear I can power wheelie in first and second gear

@@22smcrrider96 for me I can bring her up in both modes but with traction control on the bike will cut the throttle off once you get too steep. So you can only do little wheelies with TC on but you can do them on both modes. Mode two works a little better for wheelies though.

@@bklf202 BRO THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. I went out today and tried wheelie in street mode (1) no TC. Did u say it will cut power when it gets up too High

@@22smcrrider96 Welcome man! It will cut the power in both mode 1 and 2 as long as you have TC on. Once you have TC off it will not cut the power anymore and you can loop the bike in either mode. This is how it works on mine. Safe riding ;)

Great video bro👌 I think that maybe you need to keep your weight further back on the saddle when you try to wheelie

i only tried them for a little bit but they still make me poop my pants even though i get like 10cm of the ground haha but its all about progressing in your own time!

haha I totally get you man. At the beginning lifting the front just a little bit feels like you are almost looping the bike :D keep at it! I am sure you will get there!

@@bklf202 hahaha exactly! Im glad that someone that is as good at wheelies as you are telling me they start kinda at the same spot im at! It gives me hope that i could maybe learn how to overcome it :D

@@ZauxieMoto I know 1000% what u mean. This one is the 1st BRAND new anything I have owned. Never bought a car or bike b4 this 690 new from dealer
