I'll wager a tidy sum that the craftsman here doesn't swear, curse, cus. Just have a feeling he's methodical, organised and attentive. Not fussed. Love the openess and sharing. The assistant, if there is one, is a lucky fella to work with a Zen master.

Tip for you. What I do is I get a rasp it's the thing that shaves down the edge of plasterboard .I take it and file away all the way around my float it only takes a few minutes
@emmettmccarthy7247
@emmettmccarthy7247 2 жыл бұрын
@@eddiemagill2025 yes I'm sure it would be an easier way to break the floats in.id usually give a new 1 to the groundworkers who's doing concrete as it gets it worn down much quicker.thanks if I'm ever stuck il think of that 1.👍

Hi Mac. Not a plasterer but have done a good bit over the years. I see you put different additives in. A fan of sbr. Does this alone in a mix waterproof it.?? Also use 6foot darby and instead of 4foot bit of wood which I use . Now i use a speed skim what do you think of the speed skim?
@macplastering
@macplastering 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Paul mate speedskims good for sure have a few vids about it and using it, sbr should but i put a little of the waterproof in also but for top coat i preffer just waterproof as sbr can be sticky to rub up
