Thought you guys would be interested to see how I set up the piggies' hutch for the week after I have cleaned it out! Maybe it's even given you some ideas for yours?

How big is your hutch is 5 foot hutch OK for 2 boars

I have 2 guinea pigs in the exact same hutch as yours but my piggies are producing so much waste. I used to have them on wood shavings but since my bins only get emptied every 3 weeks its hard to actually get rid of the waste as well as the rubbish that my family have and so i moved them on to news paper but i have to clean it like everyday and like ordering skips every month :( #anythingformypiggies

Guinea pigs do produce loads of waste unfortunately. I really recommend using fleece as then you can sweep it daily and then machine wash the fleece in a wash bag which I will be showing in this weeks video! Then you only have about a carrier bag full of stray hay and waste to get rid of instead of huge sacks! Hope this helps. Xx

How do you wash the fleece without ruining your washing machine? I always need to throw away my fleece it feels like im wasting it :( but its cheaper than bedding so I use it!

I use fleece to and I always wash them in the washing machine and I always need to throw the fleece out because they get dirty

Yes it is! However I adapted the stairs as I felt they were too steep and the hole at the top was really big. I explain it all on my hutch tour if you’re interested! Xx

Elizapet2008 if possible clean out their poop everyday but recommend that you wash the fleece 2 times everyweek to get of the smell and pee 👌🏻🐹😀

It depends on how many pigs you have! Obviously the more you have the more often you’ll need to. I empty their hay boxes fully every day and sweep the fleece to get rid of hay, straw and poo that’s across the floor and then I fully clean it weekly and wash the fleece then. I swap it over with some I washed the previous week!
