I thought it was really messy at the beginning, but as you kept going my mouth kept dropping lower and lower. I was like "How does he make those random "messy" strokes actually form such a beautiful sketch???" Good job, sir! Good job! I am just amazed! It's a beautiful sketch!

Amazing. Done so quickly, but so great. A stylised line and some precises details make an impressive sketch. Very inspiring (but probably demands years of practice !). Thanks for sharing this. Please keep making tutorials videos !

Thank you for this, i've been looking everywhere for rough sketching guides. a lot of people use grid work, and i'm not a fan, as i like to just get straight into it.

Best sound ever 😁🙌🏼. Hey BTW I’m working on a sketch inspired by street art/murals after seeing you’re awesome eagles you’ve put up recently. I used to draw graffiti (only in sketchbooks haha) but haven’t in a long time. Trying to put it in a video if I can. Hope you like it😊✌🏼.

Every one think that every one can draw like this... So many people not consider Drawing is a subject, they think that lowest grade job..., jobless people choose this unwanted skills... But drawing s gives creative wings if you become capable of selling your drawing s It may change your life... 😇😇😇

Hi Scottie. This is technique is sort of like blind contour line drawing but you're actually looking at the picture. I need to try this out as I really like these fast sketches you draw.

Starting with a contour drawing only works, if the artist has established a sense for proportions first, by practicing a LOT beforehand. Once THAT comes naturally, your method can be used. Not everyone has as much practice as you. You know Im right 😉

yes I think it can but it depends on the style you want to achieve

For someone just starting, is it better to start with small sized sketches or full paper sized sketches?

I personally started with lots of smaller sketches so I could practice more and adjust mistakes each time. All the best👍🏼

Mine looks like a dude but great tutorial man it's something anyone can do which is great since all you need is a pencil and paper none of that perfection stuff which is what usually drives people off

I’m using a charcoal pencil here but yes you can use a 2B pencil for sure! I would use any pencil 2B and up. 👍🏼

Yes sometimes but when I use a charcoal pencil it’s harder to get rid of lines so if it’s a bad mistake I usually have to start again 😢

It’s nice but doesn’t resemble the woman in the picture. I wonder what the essence of transferring likeness it - probably proportions between features, consistent angles?
