I absolutely love what you're doing with your channel Ulysses, you're clearly finding your own creative identity in these and it really shows. I also really like the longer format, especially for travel-related content. Keep up the great work!

Hi Ulysses. Great video thanks again. My first visit to Kyoto was in 1977.... it has changed a bit since. But I was there again in 2019 and enjoyed it. Merci. Domo arigato. Jean

Dude, I totally enjoyed this seemingly long-ass vlog. I'm so glad you decided to do this more often than your trademark photography-centric videos. You seem a lot more chilled/at ease, and your vibe effortlessly flows through these vlogs. Hats off to your girlfriend for being such a sport. I'm looking forward to seeing more chilled vlogs like these.

Honestly I think this is one of the best videos you've ever made. The colors, scenery, and the food... beautiful. I also liked how you showed us the sites in less than ideal weather conditions. It made it feel like I was taking part in your journey if that makes sense. Stay warm and dry! 😄 I'm already looking forward to your next one!

Dear Ulysses...I stumbled across your video...a good year after it was published. It brought me to the rest of your videos and thus to your channel. I love your cinematic style and storytelling. It's great! Please keep up the good work with your content art. Best regards from Germany. Chris

Hi Ulysses, just wanted to say I am really enjoying the new direction of the channel and encourage you to keep going down this path. Your personality really comes through when it’s vlog style vs. Photo review related only videos. When I visited in 2017 Kyoto was my favourite city and somewhere I’ve now dreamed about living in more permanently in the future. Thank you for bringing us along! Getting to relive my time there through your video. Cheers!

Dude. During this whole video, I kept thinking いいなー. I've been in Japan for six years and I have yet to go to Kyoto. And for you to go to such a beautiful place at a time where there is very few people...that's like a dream. I really appreciate you showing us Kyoto in a way that isn't like other English speaking KZfaqrs in Japan. Recently, a lot of those other KZfaqrs show places in a very influencer/privileged manner that kind of rub me the wrong way. This was very refreshing.

@imseeno
@imseeno 2 жыл бұрын
@@DrewWillson I don't really know of other Japan based English speaking KZfaqrs who make content about Japan with similar vibe to Ulysses's video here. Many of the big KZfaqrs (I'd rather not specifically name them in fear of potential backlash from their fans) have been seeming like influencers and I personally am not a fan. You might want to check them out though. You might end up enjoying them.
