I was homeless in LA too but real homeless. Not starting a business homeless. Simply circumstances, not really the result of anything bad. I got out by simply not accepting it anymore. Now 20 years later im a firefighter, dad, homeowner, ect and I still remember almost no one helping me. The cold looks, the disgusted faces, and the sheer coldness of the general population. I never once begged for food or money. I did steal food but it was necessity to survive. The sheer amount of homeless teenagers in LA is staggering and I still can’t believe I was one of them. Moral: be nice to those less fortunate.

i made a notes from this interview for anyone that might need it: -no matter what the rejection, keep you eye on the target. -make a product that people willing to re-buy, not just buy. -make a product that had improvement from the existing product. -fewer moving parts is better. -rich = happy + healthy. -success = how well you do what you do when people don't looking. -passion to work or like to work. -you can't change the yesterday newspaper. -"today is the first day of the rest of your life" -make friends with kindness

My wife went to the Paul Mitchell School in the 2000's and at her graduation she talked about how she was going to miss her teachers and hair dressers she learned from the most because they were all great people... She still maintains those relationships to this day even tho she owns her own salon now! We live in a small town in Alabama but people knows where SHE went to school and where she was trained and learned at and was taught more than just the cutting and dressing of hair, also engaging with her clients and always being her best self everyday at her station!!!! She still has her starter kit from when she went to Paul Mitchell School and it's one her most prized possessions!! This man is a genius.....

INSIPIRING!! Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

Given the prevailing market conditions and the potential risks associated with the current economy, I would recommend refraining from investing in stocks for now. Instead, it would be prudent to consider retaining a portion of your assets in gold. Alternatively, seeking advice from a financial advisor could provide valuable guidance in this matter.

He seems like a genuinely kind person and very likable. He is very much right that money won't make you happy. I believe it unlocks the door to a better quality of life but you still have to push that door open and be responsible for what you take with you to the other side. These are the type of “gurus” people should watch, not those fake gurus that charge people. Everything you need to be successful is literally in this video

It is interesting how the hair business helped his tequila brand to become a brand. Also how they outsourced distribution and how this didn't work as good as with the hairdressers. Love the story of him working and bringing back money to his mom.

you should have way more subscribers, you make really great content man. hard working dude, and you ask great questions, but most importantly, you let the interviewee speak. the best bits of an interview come when you just let the person speak. and there's also nothing worse then watching someone get interrupted constantly, so i really appreciate the way you interview your guests. Keep at it!!

too many people are obsessed with the easy way out, addicted to social media or have some fake outrage where they would see someone like dejoria and say he's another "evil billionaire". the interview is fantastic and dejoria is always a joy to see, but part of me is glad that this is a hidden gem. the one's who are ready, will seek it out just like all of us did and the one's who are obsessed with non sense are happy in their misery.

Everyone in here is probably struggling, wanting to become cash rich millionaires/ billionaires. This is the best interview about success, the right mindset is not about flexing you rapper cash and Lamborghin. It’s about the journey, and how you impact people around you.
