It's that Robertson just appears to "be there" but then by the end of the night he has 2 goals, 2 assists. His style isn't boring but it just isn't super flashy, he just appears to fill the scoresheet most nights.

Still waiting for Roope Hintz to get the credit he deserves, turning into an absolute UNIT. The guy is a menace no matter where he is on the ice, probably one of the best all-around players in the league.

I remember looking at the top goal scorers one season and saw a guy with 41 goals and I was like, WHO? Then I looked at his goals and realized this guy is capable of 50 and even 60 goals in his career. He goes into the dirty areas and has a heavy shot. His size and skating make him tough to defend. Dallas got a franchise player who has so much potential to break 100 points every year.

He's extra motivated by what his owner said during the summer and now he's in 'ill show you' mode.

Good point. I know all about him and how good he is doing, but I don't think I've even wrapped my head around it. Also nobody in my hockey pools seems interested in him even though he is a better pick. It happens though, some people don't even realize Draisaitl exists because of McDavid. Probably also to due with the team he is on. They're super exciting to watch, but I don't think many casual fans realize this and Dallas isn't a team I hear brought up very often. Good video!

Dude scored 15G 15A in 16 GP between Nov 1 and Dec 1. That is absurd. I do think there's an element of luck to the stat line being that high, but the kid is getting 50 for sure this season. Possibly the best ever single draft for a team. Elite goalie, defenseman and forward all in one swoop.

Robertson is the real deal no doubt

For Robertson, I hope that he wins every trophy that there is, as for myself, I already know how good he is and quite honestly, I would not trade him straight across for anybody, not that there are not many great, great players out there. Cale Makar would be the one player that I would have to consider but then who would find to replace Jason Robertson? He has been blessed by being paired up with Roope Hintz and Joe Pavelski last year and this, but when he is playing alongside other players their play is elevated. I swear that it feels as though Jamie Benn is playing like he is twenty-something again. Jason Robertson just looks like he is having the time of his life out there and that feeling is absorbed by all the other Stars players around him. And he is from Southern California, a hotbed for hockey (true, but just kidding about the hotbed part). I believe that he has a great chance to be as good as Luc Robitaille.

I think he can win a scoring title at one point.

People need to start talking about Robertson like they do with mcdavid and matthews because he will score on your team

The fact that Robertson was not the number one priority for Dallas and had to hold out as long as he did while also being trash-talked by the team owner shows how he is undervalues most prevalently on his own team. If your franchise player isn't being valued at home, it isn't likely he will get the recognition he deserves league wide. He deserves better.

He's the type of player that benefits: A) from being so big and strong, but not fighting tough B) playing against smaller D men that are more puck moving like Hughes C) isn't playing against Pronger and Stevens He's Todd Bertuzzi powerforward-esque in his prime mixed with the likes of Jagr's hands. He and Tage Thompson are going to be so much better in a couple of years.

I got me some learned new facts already today, nice. Im thinkin hes being mucho underestimated out there. Not on most teams radar yet, in terms of defending against him and proper coverage. Whats his playing time looking like, how many min a game is he getting, is he on special teams? Those stats are plain crazy if hes not playing on the PP or is averaging less than 15ish min game.
