The s same thing happened with the Av's game, holding a lead in hockey is hard, you play differently a bit without realizing it, hockey psychology 101, you've got to win games you have a 3 goal lead.

I just hope that the Oilers come back strong next game and actually play all 60 minutes. And for draisaitl to be okay.

Almost 21 minutes without a shot after that 4th goal, for that EDM team, is absolutely insane.

The Oilers haven't beat the Canucks all year. That must be sitting in the back of their heads. Now with blowing a 4-1 lead. The pressure is all on the Oilers.

We have to clean up the mistakes in the first and early second, but if we keep this pressure up, a lot of analysts are gonna look silly when the Canucks advance
@omfg32218 сағат бұрын
Canucks have 0 pressure and nothing to lose here. Canucks blew everyones expextations and still people doubt them Oilers have all the pressure to win with everything to lose.

As a Canucks fan this was so awesome to witness. I think this will be in the oilers head for a little bit. Canucks in 6!
@slamsM618 сағат бұрын
Since the Canucks have so much depth, they can allow more time to lower lines, which means they're not relying on a tired first line when they reach the third period. Everyone still has their legs, but the other team is drained. You can call them comeback kings, but it really is is *stamina*. The later the game goes, the better we are. Just hope you don't end up in an OT with us.

For what it’s worth, as a Canucks fan living near Edmonton I have experienced nothing but good things with Edmonton fans. They have always been good me and my son in the ways that really matter. Their sportsmanship culture in this region of Alberta is the biggest reason the Oilers have become my second favourite NHL team… a similar sentiment cannot be said towards that other (shall not be named) Alberta team. Canucks and Oilers fans can always be counted on to hate that team that didn’t make the postseason lol

I'm torn, despite being a hard canucks fan since 94...ive grown to love the oilers as my new 2nd fave team as the leafs are obvious for shitting the bed for generations and now falling below the oil for me..i must seem bizarre but ya, i wish these guys didnt have to face eachother but nucks all the way!

High quality analysis. Really brutal game by the Oilers, credit to the Canucks where it’s due. People saying this series would be an easy win for Edmonton should really open their eyes. I love my Oilers to death, but if they keep this steady regression going since Game 4 of LA, this series will be a huge disappointment to the fans.

While I would trade anything to have my team in the Playoffs (Blackhawk), it can still be really fun watching the NHL Playoffs without having a true rooting interest in the games. I still can't believe what just happened in this game! What an amazing comeback! This is just my opinion, but the most incredible thing about the Vancouver comeback was how well the Defense just absolutely shut Edmonton DOWN! How long did they go without even taking a single shot on Goal?!? Yet, I hope Canucks fans don't get too over confident. Consider that it could have been 5 or even 6 to 1 at one point, but for a great Goalie save and one puck hitting the crossbar. I get the feeling that this series is far from over. Even after taking this gut punch, Edmonton is still dangerous, still capable of winning this series. (I know, obviously right?!?) Anyway, good luck to bothe teams and both fan bases. This should be the best series in the 2024 playoffs!

As an Oilers fan, great comeback from the Canucks. You have a good team. We will get swept if we only play 2 periods each game. Lost my mind during the third last night.
