Mika is doing so well! I love that she signs/spells as she's sounding out a word. She can teach someone ASL while they work on speach. It's quite a skill to be multi lingual!

I have had Swimmers Ear many times when I was a teen. Even the mild cases were very painful and I felt very cranky!!! Tylenol, or Advil took the edge off but I was still pretty miserable. Happy Birthday Mika!!

Could AFOs help Mika with her balance and walking?

She has already used AFO's and they don't help the regression of her feet turning back inward. However, of course they helped keep her feet flat when walking etc. As long as i put hard soled shoes on her and not flimsy sandals etc --then her feet stay flat and she can stay functional. ;)
