You can sac all goblins in response to Rakdos Charm and untap Krenko, and tap it so you can create goblins...

As a goblin player, I can confirm. Also there is the fact that you constantly find interactions between your goblins that you didn't knew before. Those critters are very intricate.

Fun fact: If you are playing commander you don’t need the artifact (just a skirk prospector, something to give your creatures haste, 6 goblins total and krenko on board) you can tap krenko and untap him by killing him and casting him again.

Krenko plus 3 goblins and a haste effect in play, with skirk in hand and at least 5 mountains in play (or a way to make at least 3RR) seems to be the minimum to go infinite with this line. With brightstone ritual or battle hymn in hand, it looks like you can go infinite with this line with just krenko in play, skirk in hand, and 4 mountains (or 2RR) on board.

As a lifelong Goblins player, I heartily approve!....also, send help, I got stuck in a loop and now my home is filled floor to ceiling with Goblin tokens...they smell like ink and paper, taste bad, and it's getting hard to breathe...I just need a few sammiches as I am in heaven.

I had a friend who likes to mess with opponents, he always carried a dozen of goblin tokens which he drops obviously for his opponents to notice so they would instantly keep a hand against a fast 1/1 deck only to find out he plays control.

Krenko was my first commander deck back in 2014/15? and I accidently came across that combo with the chieftan, prospector, and mantle on board when I first went to equip Krenko.

As someone who plays a Krenko edh deck, this is exactly how it goes every time. The key to not dying there is sac goblins until you don't die. Then rebuild so you can block/do whatever and just go next turn

For those curious: A magic card measures around 6.35 x 8.89 cm, leading to a area of 56,4515 cm^(2) Earth has a radius of 6371 km for a area of around 80000 km(2) Therefore to be able to cover the whole planet with goblin tokens you would need around 1.41*10^(13) tokens, or in long term math 14 billion goblins.

@@l.belcher1687 There are two diferent billions depending of which math you follow. In short math, which is used for the earth's population, a billion is a thousand of millions (10^9); In long math a billion is a million of millions (10^12), which back in short math would be a trillion. I'm used to long math, so that's why I used it's terminology, so pardon the confusion. Plus I resorted to very simple simple math, so that may be why the estimative is rubbish.

I did this but in a riku deck... with brudiclad and helm of hosts out... into a deceiver of form topdecking cleaving sliver... dmg was "yes" and we didn't even bother to calculate it, ESPECIALLY cause I had that enchantment that let's you sac a creature and reattach it for another combat phase...

I got Rakdos Charm'd when playing Slimefoot once. All my saprolings killed me right before I was set to win. I had never been happier to lose. Never been killed by my own army before 😂

Alternatively if you're playing modern goblins: I cast a goblin and tutor for a goblin. I tap a goblin and tutor for a goblin. I aether vial in a goblin and tutor for a goblin. I goblin a goblin and tutor for a goblin. Now I goblin a goblin gang goblin, creating more goblins and sacing all my goblins. GG

Funniest game I've ever had was I legitimately played a game with my Inalla, Archmage Ritualist where I went to 1 hp, someone tried to kill me with their massive board state of 4C Omnath triggers, and I managed to kill them using Rakdos charm. I proceeded to be the next in turn, mass-reanimated my grave, and tap-down my wizards to kill the other player. I will perpetually never take out Rakdos charm because of that deal 1 damage to it's controller effect.

This is why I would run Hellrider in my deck. Deals one damage to opponent for each attacking monster you have so damage goes through before the attack does

My worst memory playing Krenko is a game where an opponent casted Intimidation Bolt every single turn, targeting Feather, the redeemed and the one blue mage at the table made sure I couldn't resolve my direct damage payoffs. So I sat there with something like 100k goblins, but couldn't do anything.

My bro has a krenko deck and his greatest fear is my Vampire deck getting off a New Blood targeting Krenko. Shouldn't happen very often right? 7 times I've won using New Blood to hit Krenko. Literally EVERY time I played against the deck with vamps. He refuses to ever play against it again lol (New Blood steals a creature and replaces instances of text naming a creature type with vampires instead...)

I mean, sac all the goblins for mana to krenko after the charm goes off. Or... like, just have an Impact Tremors or purphoros so attacking isn't required. (Purphoros of course being the second most common goblin general)
