"Or will it's history hold it back " can't forget that line. If it did we could get more super charged V8 hope it's history holds it back from going all electric but Not hold it back from the competition.

Great film and great car the oposition as usual is still catching up in so many respects and still using ICE platforms. Look forward to the next chapter.

Building electric isn't challenging. Everything about building electric cars is easier (except battery chemistry) than building combustion engines. The only difficult part is scrambling to keep up with the competition that is miles ahead!

Lol yeah right.. if anything building an combustion engine car is easier because of all the experience auto makers has.. electric cars is new, so it will take awhile before they get it right

@@storm-shadow1237 What is there to get right? Everything already exists. Electric motors are nothing new, control electronics exists, building a car frame is no different from the car frame of a combustion car (apart from the extra space you get for not having a combustion engine). The only parts that need to be figured out is the charging infrastructure and making batteries safer and more energy dense. Those last two are the most difficult, but it doesn't stop anyone putting electric cars on the market.

@@puffinjuicei have to say jaguar did an amazing job on all aspects except from battery range compared to tesla and infotainment (for some) but did an exceptional job in making a really fun ev car, still till this day the jaguar i pace is one of the best handeling electric cars to drive only being challenged by the porsche taycan. Tesla has the better tech ofcourse but for 90% of people the jaguar has enough range and charging speed and the first time you jump behind the wheel you feel confident. They did alot of things right with the i pace especially when you thing about when it came out.

JLR have now recalled all of their EVs due to the risk of the batteries spontaneously catching fire. Not good and happening all too often. These things are too volatile. There's good reasons the motor industry progressed to combustion engines decades ago. When do you ever see progress going back to the past.

except they haven't it affected around 6000 vehicles none of which caught fire and only as a check on cells which was done in the dealers or over the air. It also affected many other manufacturesrs using the same battery platform but strangely you don't mention that fact or any other for that matter.

Your content is not relevant today as it’s too old, many new and important developments make this video . If you are just posting the video after its commercial life elsewhere is over then it’s okay as a historical video.

And yet sales are still good and it remains one of the best selling second hand EV's according to SMMT

WOW. Just WOW. I never thought a car video could age so badly. World wide, Jaguar can not give these away. The ev market is collapsing. Auto manufacturers and countries are backing away from the ev push. Yet Jaguar in 2025 will only make ev's. R.I.P Jaguar. You will be missed.

@@Kimbrough87 Nope. Not a hater. I really like Jaguar. If I am a hater, it is that I hate what is about to happen to Jaguar if they are serious about only making ev's.

EV market literally saw 7% growth last quarter. I’d say that’s far from “collapsing.”
