Since trading for OG Anunoby at the start of the new year the New York Knicks are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. OG has helped massively improve their defense and the franchise is in its best spot since Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire were on the team. While OG Anunoby has been a great addition Jalen Brunson is the player who saved the Knicks is a responsible for where they are today. Today we look back at the past year in a half the Knicks have had led by Jalen Brunson.

Jalen Brunson's move to the Knicks was a huge success for him. I think Brunson is one of the most underrated players in the NBA right now.

I believe the New York Knicks has the opportunity to make it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals. They have gotten extremely better defensively with OG and on top of that he's one of the best spot up three-point shooters out there as well. Even if they don't make another move by the trade deadline I really believe what the talent that they have and the defense that they play that they can make it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals This is a very good team and have an established closer and star in Jalen that they've been longing for since the Carmelo days. Plus on top of that they're going to get Mitchell Robinson back as well before the playoffs starts So that's a huge boost for this team moving forward as well getting back there defensive anchor in Robinson.

As someone who grew up rooting for the Eagles, when they really sucked I became a bandwagon Vikings fan cause Randall Cunningham had that one great year for them. To this day I always root for the Vikings when I see them on TV. 🤷‍♂️

Being from my home state, Illinois, I’ve always loved Brunson. Won state in high school. Won a championship at Villanova. I feel like it’s bound for him to win a NBA Title. He wins everywhere.

It’s like that here in the USA for the most part… but I noticed a lot of the younger fans (25 and under) are team hoppers. They either follow their favorite players, or root for a team that has the best chance to win. It’s strange lol

I loved the Knicks trade… when everyone said the Knicks got fleeced, my issue with that is that, OG can score, he’s the quintessential three and “D” player every team clamor for. I’ve told people that RJ Barrett is just diet Wiggins, and people thought I was crazy. At least Wiggins can play defense… OG is a better defender and won’t take away major touches from Brunson and Randle. I said it in your three words or less video prior to the regular season, I said the Knicks is a conference finals sleeper.

RJBarrett was never the starting PG for the Knicks. Did your research consist of the typically errant info from ESPN? They mislabel player positions very often. Your points are all loose opinions with little supporting details, stats & comparisons. I've heard teenagers make better points.
