@@hakunamiata83 nah, I honestly thoughts of them at first since it’s the first that pops up on google when researching, but you won’t find many reviews on them and the ones you do are horror stories. So I skipped them. Went with someone else and my car will finally be arriving at the port mid next week. Also I wouldn’t really fully trust going with a KZfaqrs recommendation as they always have a partnership deal, best to find more options and compare feel comfortable doing business with. Most will export and recommend an import/ customs broker they work with. So be forward isn’t the only that provides those benefits and easy process

@@stevegonzales527 if i may ask, would you be willing to provide me with the companies you used? i plan to do far more research but i feel like it wouldnt be a bad idea to try and gather as much info as possible before i lock in on an exporter. another thing, me and a group of my friends are planning to take a trip over to japan in 2026 and i plan to not only enjoy japan for what it is but also so i can physically see with my own eyes how the export process works. i dont know anyone over there but my thought is maybe i can try to goto a car meet or places that are car hotspots to talk to locals about trust worthy sources? idk its just a thought but regardless id like to go over and check things out for myself before ill want to purchase and ship a vehicle.

Same. I just bought a mark x with some slight fender damage. When asked them to take a video of the car running and more info about the damage they said no. This is my second car to import. When I bought my last car in 2015 (s15 from tradecarview) the seller sent me such an in-depth video and was super transparent. These guys do not appear to go out of the way to offer information and piece of mind to their customers. 100% regretting using these guys for this purchase.

Yes they check everything. I bought a car from a 3rd party and they made sure to list everything about the car. They translate it all so you can see what'swrong or how's it.

its hard to find any beforward info, its a mix of good and bad. i just decided to buy else where. the fee's you see is just convenience with a bit of mark up on their end. their most of their mini trucks are higher price than what you can get them for. auction price for them is under $1000. i bought an exact car frm auction and theyre selling it on beforward for double the price. im sure they have some deals but youll have to keep looking and you wont know if its a deal if you dont know what they for through the auction

befowards sells almost all vehicles as a middle man from a third party seller. They dont do any inspections on the cars before you buy or anything like thatS So you can end up with a complete shit box and they will just say too bad.

Need to have compliance I believe. Some of the cars dont have side indicators (for examle) which the compliance service installs. Even if it has say side indicators, it needs to be checked & granted that it is compliant.

just do your normal counties taxes. im looking at no more than 500 for all fees and paperwork. and id do more research on other importers, dont go with the first one thats advertisement to you. remember this is a sponsorship video. you wont find many reviews on beforward and if you do they are a few and mixed reviews and this is that its claimed they are the biggest importers. not saying dont use them but best to do some research, i almost clicked the purchase button on them twice but kept looking and found else where thats better and cheaper from the cost of the car (auction price with couple hundred bucks as commission) and way cheaper shipping (about 1/3 of befowards shipping price)

I paid $9100 for car and boat ride to Freeport, Tx. I used a Customs agent out of Austin. It cost $1250. Price may differ. $200 for Hoegh freight. And I opted to hire a shipping company to get car and bring it to me in Wichita Falls, Tx $500. And $530 for my taxes and registration at DMV. Hardest thing believe it or not was insurance. We ended up with progressive. Hagerty didn’t want me to drive it for full coverage.
