this man is the truth, listen to him. reaching out does not work even if you know there hurting and going through hard times in their life. an ex is like a cat if you chase it, it runs away. if you sit down the cat will randomly jump in your lap. NEVER break no contact, i did it one time and got disrespected. give them what they want, and see what happens. control what you can control, you cannot control another person.

2 months or less does seem accurate. If a person gives it 6 months or more and they still haven't tried to reach out on their own, they are probably no longer interested

If he comes back, i know now which friend isnt "just a friend" and that hes only back because she friend zoned him. Within two months (day 42 of no contact) - a friend of my ex reached out to me and said "she wants to meet you soon, not now, she's very upset, but she'll probably meet you soon". So - that's something. The most important thing for me is realising that I can survive without her and I will never beg for her back or even pressure her at all to be with me again - she has to win me back as well.

I was the rebound for my ex, and like people say, it lasted exactly 6 months and we bring up around 7th or 8th month and my ex had completely lost interest way before we broke up, even though the beginning was very magical and my ex did everything, and even went out of the way to get us together, which slowly changed as months passed... Coach I messed up. Last week I broke nc. We broke up around 3 months ago. I gave her a call thinking maybe she would want to speak to me, instead all she said was ‘please don’t contact me’.
