English is a simple language. It is the most simplified of all European languages. There are no conjugated verbs and there are no femininine or masculine definite articles. Future tense is simply "going to" and "will" plus the base verb. It's extremeley easy. Anyone who speaks English as their FIRST language has a harder time learning any other language than those who are trying to learb English.

I am 27 years old and I just started to really learn english in the last 2 years when I started to study every day by myself on the internet. So, if you want to learn, you should study and keep in contact with the language dayly. Every nigth I watch one episode of some serie that I like, it helps me to learn more and to not forget what I already know.

When I heard that it takes 6 hours every day I was just upset so then I realized that I spend my day with English. I wake up and I promise to myself some things in english, then I go to gym and communicate with english native speakers and I watch a lot of videos on KZfaq every day and I just love it and feel how I approximate to my goal !

It's not a matter of time we have, it's matter of using that time in a smart way, a person spends one hour learning a phrase, another spends the same amount of time learning 20 words and using them in sentences, the first one is somehow procrastinating doing it, the second is working hard and smart

Everything, what You're saying is true. I learnt English for almost 3 years... but you know it wasn't so much important for me. I didn't try to focus on it 100%. Maybe it draws on time. If you have lots of free time, its just easier. But nowadays I just don't care about it. I learn step by step and do my best. This video made me step back and look at it through diffrent eyes. I really like your videos.

Hi Gabby. I'm from Brazil and I am learning English with your KZfaq videos. Thank you so much for spend your time with recording videos to us. I am watching your videos all the days and, because of you, my English has improved a lot. I studied a year in 2017 in an English course with a native Canadian professor and It helped me to go out beginner to A2 level. And after, I found your KZfaq channel and my listening is improving day after day. I still put subtitles in English but, many of phrases I understand with no subtitles. It just because you talk clearly. Thank you. Now, I would to know in what level I am.

Well, i understood almost everything you said maybe 92% but that's because you speak clearly, I did a test and I got a low b2, I'd like to reach at least the C1, I study between 45 and 60 minutes per day but focused in my listening because it's my weakness, I don't care if it takes 2 more years I will keep until I get it, nice video I just subscribed.

Well, Arabic is my mother tongue and French is my second language. I studied English as a foreign language at university for 3 years '' I have a bachelor degree in English '', and now I'm studying English at The British Council '' the advanced level '' buuuut I'm not a fluent speaker, because I've realized that I focused more on grammar rules and vocabulary instead of working on my speaking. Teaching English was always my dream, but knowing all the rules but you can't explain them to your students just because you can't speak fluently is killing me 💔..

The German instead casually, I found 1 year ago a offer of Babbel, ando so I started =) The English in natural way, but also with it I'm studying hard recently (In overall I use Anki, KZfaq Videos and dictation technique, for Japanese I read manga directly in Japanese).

Can anyone give me an advice, how you guys make yourself confident enough to speak it?

I planned to get fluency to speak in English, I can hardly think in English but, it does work anyway. I'm like 7 to 10 years old kid now. Not only in speaking but writing, too. Even though I'm studying College level(or degree, whatever) words. I finally got to know that translating foreign languages doesn't help to improve speaking skills or writing skills proficiently in it. I'm spending my daily free time, an hour for pronunciation, and learning words by listening mp3-files almost 3 hours. I'm using College level words for listening and linked pronouncing words for pronunciation. From next week, I'm gonna start to build up speaking expressions from beginnings as kindergarten kids. It might take 4 to 6 months to be done. I hope and I'm sure that it's gonna help to improve my level of English.
