I could be way off but I think it's because the abdominal muscles that sit below your sternum and pectorals aren't traditionally counted for an "8 Pack" .. sometimes they are depending on peoples genetics because they will stick out more and meanwhile the lower abs won't be carved out. It's pretty rare for someone to be that diced that all of all of that is carved out. I do remember the phrase 10 Pack being used in my High School days during Greco-Roman Wrestling but it wasn't a common sight even among lean Wrestlers.

I've ACTUALLY seen a 11 pack. His abs were small and ripped, but he was only like 165lbs tho. This guy is 250plus, a very big difference, but it did motivate me to start back hittin my abs. GOD BLESS Y'ALL

Its not that he has more ab muscles like a 10 vs 6 pack its that he has developed the muscle he has to the point where it all sticks out. Kind of like how when the back muscles become insanely developed you start to see things that it seems like most people dont even have. Its the development and definition. Incredible man!

Abs are diffrent, just look at Arnold, he didn’t have a 6 pck but a 4 pck, it all depends om how many abs bands you are born with. No matter how hard you workout
