That's just the thing, I never really go into a relationship wanting to meet my own needs. I know that the majority of people out there are in it for themselves and expect women to be everything that men want for little in return, so I am focusing on my own little circle of close friends and family. If I meet a giving and kind man, I'll consider it. But it's a shame that people approach dating as "I want! I want! I want!"

@JonathonAslay I wish I knew that 30 years ago. Us naive females thought that when a guy wants to have sex with you, he really likes you & really wants to be with you. That's what we thought. The guy only wanted to get laid. He said & did all of the I really like you & we should date stuff for about 3 months then disappeared. At this point in my life, I could care less about men. Looking back, I wish I was more cautious.

A big problem we have is Men Swiping right, 90% of profiles, without reading and finding out if the profiles align. Leaving EXTRA work for women to screen through tens or hundreds of profiles, when still, only 5% have a possibility. It’s disrespectful, inefficient n exhausting. (Shows men lack self respect n self love.) Making the experience on dating sites/apps, a pain in the butt.

@@Sunlightsam24 In many cases it's possible to see through the lies and the bs. But there are some pretty good actors out there too. Moreover - not every person is able to see through lies and shady behaviour. Today's human beings lack empathy and decency. We live in a narcissistic society in which victims are blamed and perpetrators are admired for their chuzpe. Today's society is a "me me me and only me" society with a stupid yolo mentality that tells peeps "do what you want" regardless of consequences. That's just wrong. And: Let's not put the blame on women please. I cannot stand the trend to blame the victim. If a guy is a liar then he is the perpetrator and the woman is the victim (and vice versa). It is never ok to lie to get what you want - never! You cannot justify theft as being ok just because it is possible. Only people with no empathy and no sense for what is right or wrong could do that.

I like this channel and will stop and watch-however, this same topic is repeated over and over and I wonder if, one some level this isnt the recipe for crazy making on some level. What is he thinking? What is he doing? How is he feeling? The thing is, men are incredibly simple. He's either interested or he isn't. But this endless day in day out with the "what does it mean when he pulls away" kinda thing just feeds into the (sometimes) insanity and wasted energy of the female brain...and I'm female..so I can say this! Over and over with this uncertainty, over analyzing, repetition. Ladies, you don't have to ruminate over this for years on end. Real connections are easy to spot. Save yourself some grief and take a break from the "what is he thinking, what is he doing, why did he do this why did he do that" kind of tag lines. It feeds into an endless stream of insecurity, anxiety and stress. Just relax. Either it's meant to be or it isn't. Go do something fun.
