Wow that labor is cheap! In Rizal per day is 1.5k with meals and snacks plus sleeping with us too 😅 still pretty cheap in your province though than here in Luzon. Even in cagayan valley the labor is 1k per day

MJ….. will be nice once they have time to finish rendering and painting the whole outside. What I would suggest is that on the side and back of the hosue, they should slowly over time, dig away at teh earth to make sure it slopes away from the house so that if you get heavy rain it doesnt drain toward the house. It needs to drain away. Also, in the future, try and level the ground in front of the doors. Maybe make a small front patio in front of your dads room. Also then a small porch area in front of the main door. If these two areas were paved it will be cleaner since you wont have dirt or mud right in front of the doors. I think people are not realizing that the roof really breathes like it is. So that is helping keep the house cool. Yes it isnt perfect but this is not a western house. And it is such a massive improvement for comfort and safety over the destroyed house. Lastly, i still think you should consider building a new sturdier garage for Ruby and maybe some imporvments to your moms store in the future.

You did good, the house looks fine. More work in the fishing of the outside but like you said it is Liveable. This what counts . The price is right and for sure your sister is pleased. Quarter of a million pesos, $5k, to own a small 18x14 house in Cebu province is good. And here I rent 20x12 studio for $950/mo. That house probably cost only $3k in 2021, and their old house built for ≤$500 20+ yrs ago.
