Gods no. Not even GW can afford mall rent here. Though, more accurately, GW couldn't run their one-staffer-per-store policy in our malls since they don't allow stores to close (even for 15 minutes so the staffer can get some lunch) while the mall itself is open. The closest we get are video game stores which sometimes have action figures and a local toy store chain (Toy World) which also sells some action figures and has a small range of Airfix and related hobby products.

Two local shopping centres have Zings, while another has a store that attempts to stock all manner of nerdy gaming, comics and merch, with the result that they don't really have good amounts of anything. The prices are total nonsense. Also, if you stretch the definition of "mall" to what was called a "mall" in Australia in the 60's/70's, there was one store which is now gone; the mall has been turned into a street, and that's where GW is.

The old game shops are now large combo mini mega stores, selling books, comics, vinyl records, T-shirts, war hammer, TTRPG and skateboards MTB bikes and scooters.

Ohhhh that Frieza was a great choice. I have not been to my local mall since the pandemic but they never had a store as cool as that one in Milpitas

Oh I have one of him already! I haven’t painted him up, but I was like that cool and I’m into special edition versions of things so even though Luke may not be a character I use in game, painting the icon sounds fun!

I got an attic full of comics mostly Marvel mutants and 2000AD, never got into action figures much, got a few McFarlane ones from around 99. Now I got a W40K and Dwarven Forge habit that does not allow for many others. Btw got some MFC trees which are versatile but play second fiddle to Dwarven Forge trees, expensive but superior in my opinion ;)

There is a place near where I live that sells scale models like that which I'd like to do a similar hunt at. Might be something I do after I've built a few of the models I already have from Tamiya.

Our local mall is on life support. There is a comic book/arcade shop in a corner that is dark and dusty. Kinda sad really. Once took both my kids in and none of us found anything we needed.

Some of the items in the store make Lego look cheap! I was certainly into Lego but never really into action figures, that being said I Love the dragon ball Z Freeza Figure...brings back memories of when I was 12 and 13, that show really got me into working out. I became the arm wrestling champion even though I only weighed like 145 pounds...confused the hell out of alot people!. I love the concept of being able to paint the war hammer -(esque?) figures and then putting them up for sale for $350 dollars. Psshhh I'm artistic, I'll do that...where do I sign up?
