Wonderful to have you two on KZfaq again 🥹 Welcome back to our Saturday morning routine. And an extra special as we’re avoiding unpacking from our recent trip to Disneyland Paris (last night) ❤❤

We’ve got the keys split on one occasion,as you’re probably aware lots of rentals have the spare on the same key ring,went to a garage it took some elbow grease but at least you can split the keys .Avis once charged for roadside assistance and I didn’t notice and they removed the fee when I returned the car ,I was of the mindset it’s you’re car if it breaks down you’ll have to pick it up ,but in the case of lost keys I guess it makes sense .Thanks for the vid already watched the travel day ,the new terminal looks nice at MCO but a lot of walking

Great to see you both with a new video. I used lots of your previous videos for research for travel to Florida, even ended up staying in the same apartment in Oakwater for two weeks in June. We had the most amazing holiday. The visitor toll pass was very easy to use and the tolls only cost about $12 for two weeks of driving around every day. Thanks for all the videos and can’t wait to see your new series of vlogs from your trip in Florida.

Suddenly my forthcoming Center Parcs holiday seems cheap as chips😂. Really interesting insight and particularly the editing that allowed real time to be mixed with ‘flashbacks’. Cheers, Kevin.

Just to share some of our tips from our last trip. We purchased a visitor toll pass from the app on our phone while in the uk, which cost us $10 deposit. Then, we collected the pass from the machine in terminal A MCO by scanning a code. We then collected our hire car from terminal A, hung the pass in the mirror and off we went. Buying one of these passes gets you discounted toll prices, so we used our pass 28 times, and we used it in Orlando and St petes beach. At the end of our holiday we just dropped the toll pass in one of the provided boxes at the airport and we received our bill when we got home. So for 28 tolls all that we paid was an extra $9.88 on top of the $10 deposit. We will definitely do this everytime now

Edinburgh airport July 2023 Hilton Doubletree £356 one night Hampton £250 had an early travel day so went with Hampton by Hilton. Shockingly when I looked at prices at Doubletree for Easter 2023 it was only £104 so they like to claw the money in, and this wasn't last minute.

I can't believe you were at Pop a few days after we left, would have loved to have bumped into you! If you want to save on phone bills I'd recommend either Three Data Pre Paid Sim which cost around £15 for 20GB or Nomad app for a digital sim which cost £18 for 10Gb, I with the Disney Wifi the 10GB has been more than enough for our past couple of trips 😊

So happy to see my two entertaining UK dandies. Sharing a breakdown of expenses should provide a general roadmap for similar vacationers. But the value of your enjoyable self - priceless!! See you soon on your next adventure!

I am sure this Will help a lot of people who especially have not been before but also to understand about the amounts required and how much they need to allow and save for . When you total it all up it does sound a lot to start with but when you break it down and consider your options. You can then save up over a period of time. Many thanks for this breakdown of costs, a 2 week WDW holiday is starting to become a ‘Trip of a Lifetime’ for many once again. We’ve not been since late 2019 after many trips but for what other holidays can offer, Orlando for us is struggling to compete.

Walking in target a couple of weeks ago, I did a double take, was that Mr. Ian and Mr. David I see, I elbowed my wife discreetly whispering “Ian and David!”. She confirmed, what are the odd’s! us from the Netherlands spotting you guy’s in a Target in Orlando. It felt too intrusive for us to go up to you guys and say hello. So we didn’t. Anyway all I could think of was to say “I know who you are, but you don’t know me” How creepy would that have been! So better for all we didn’t say hello!

Do u have to pay for parking at the Disney resort?

Just to update you guys on Disney pricing, across WDW property on October 11th, 2023 everything increased by a lot. On average all prices for park tickets, parking, hotels, food and more icreased between 4% and 25%, for example parking is now 30$ a day at the parks. 😭😱😠 APs for non Florida residant start at 1500$ plus tax and water parks.😩

Did you pay any car park fees at any parks etc?

Was there no premier inn or Travelodge cheaper

I get a sim with three for a tenner for data over there
