As an American, I am happy to say that I would have gotten about 80% of these questions correct. I also love how clueless some of the people were; it just shows how great of a job they did at selling the race to the public.

Tbh not hard , most of the advertisement was probs getting in with the local sports teams Miami sharks for instance, invite lots of celebrities and one nearby for free entry cos they will probs be lot of American sport celbs who know actually know who lewis Hamilton is or tried to follow some of the sports for clout. A lot of this is just clout. Big fast cars, at Miami, drinking , beaches and parties etc easy. If you had the money and time like f1 you could probs get people to turn up for a scooter race 😂😂

I have to say it, I fell for the question about the last American F1 driver. I honestly thought it was Scott Speed (2006 season) because I don't remember Alexander Rossi having ever taken part in a GP.

I think people dont count reverse as a gear even though it kind of is. Like when someone says to you this car has 6 gears you probably think 6 forward gears and not 5 gears plus reverse

Grill the Grandstand is always fun to watch! It was painful to watch people not get the '05 USGP question right, but I'm biased cause I was in attendance 🙃 (my first and only F1 race to date)

First off, I love your channel! Secondly, I am from Miami and I am EXTREMELY critical of my city, pretty much on a daily basis. HOWEVER, if I may defend my people for a minute, let me say that it isn't very easy to be an F1 fan in the US. Granted it has become easier with access to the F1 app. We never get F1 updates in the news, the hours the races are on here are, pretty terrible here, and the stigma against Americans in F1 is pretty annoying. I was at Saturday qualifying at the Miami GP. I can honestly say that the experience for the fans was amazing. I did not see a single unhappy person there all day. We loved the track and the setup that was made in only a matter of a few months. I got turn 1 row 1 seats. To my right I had two hardcore Ferrari fans who I was able to speak to about F1 on a very technical level. To my left was a family who was very new to F1 and frankly knew very little about how the sport worked. But guess what? The whole day they asked my wife and I questions and were 100% committed to learning more about the sport. All I am saying is, ease off the judging of people based on their F1 knowledge. There are some real F1 nerds here, even in Miami :)

The people who love f1 in America (myself) could not afford to go and that was the main issue for me with this gp. The prices were insane from what I saw.
