Good job girl! 😊👏🏽 I've always wanted to be an actress but I was afraid because my voice is deep and I've been bullied because of it so I never really followed through with it. I once applied for an audition for an agency awhile back and they said that they were going to call me and see if I've made it but they never called me so yeah and you give me so much hope! So I'm going to try my hand at acting again!

Be sure your parent are on board! Unfortunately, you'll need your parent consent/presence to be seen by trainers or even casting directors. I personally had to wait till I was 18 to pursue acting :)

When you booked that without an agent? How was your resume in acting access looked like? And also did you book a job through actors access by just emailing them?

This was in 2020. I had some stuff on my resume, mainly school theater and student films. And I booked it via actors access. Hope that helps!

I wish I had seen this back then- I work in that world and we determine what commercial actors get paid through the union (SAG/AFTRA) I'm not an agent !!!!!

Yeah that job was non union! Def do not need to join the union to get job. Specially in ATL when most job are non union

I had to send them an invoice, which I did using Paypal. I recall being paid within a week of completing the job, but I've worked jobs where it has taken months!

I think you just got me to not go with a company and sign a 5 yr non compete agreement lol As for someone who’s already working for a solar company, hows a 2.20/w redline look like to you? I’m looking to keep working with them and eventually branch out and learn from your services.

I didn’t have any training before booking this particular job. But then I trained with Drama inc once I got signed by my agency!

Honestly, I was so inexperinced, i was going with the flow and accepting whatever they were offering lol. I was just mega exited to book my first commercial. I was surprised they even paid that much considering my lack of experience at the time lol!
