The second month in every three-month cycle is typically my lowest as well. I also only got paid 4 times: $11.10 from T, $17.43 from PFLT, $15 from AIO, and $5.07 from EMD. The main difference between our two strategies is that I vest my money (and am significantly more interested) in income producing assets, so I tend to opt for higher-yielding classes than dividend growth stocks. By the end of the year my $17K+ portfolio should be yielding about $1,200 yearly, so pretty good progress for my usage case.

Nice! Sounds like you’re definitely more yield focused but whatever works best for you. Thanks for the input!

I'm sure you'll beat your 2023 dividend totals! JP, your numbers are still growing. I know you go for growth more than dividends, but you've been consistent, disciplined, and dedicated! Keep the great results coming!

Thank you sir! I appreciate the support and hope your dividends have been stacking💰🔥

That is a fantastic job on the dividends and it was nice to compare my portfolio to yours with what you made. I'm just going to stay silent on what I made as I'm only at best a third of your portfolio.

Thanks! And comparison is the thief of joy. There will always be a bigger portfolio even when you get to $1M! You’re doing great and just stay consistent and you’ll get there👍💰

I know you have safer DOW stocks, have you invested in any covered call ETFs ? There may be some higher risk, but do some research and add to ur portfolio. My portfolio is worth about 10k less than yours, but gets much more dividends per month. Just saying.

I’m personally not a fan of the covered call ETF’s I do know they’re higher risk but would prefer SCHD or VOO over them long term but thats just me. Your portfolio probably has a higher yield but it will have lower capital appreciation than an ETF like VOO so it just depends what your long term goals are. I focus more on Total return right and dividend CAGR right now than income but thats what works for me. As long as what you’re doing works for you I’m glad to hear it!

I am also not a big fan of covered call income option due to Expense Ratio is rather high, the yield return is unpredictable, and total return is a tiny snail return over the years. Also, some cover call, I would really worry about erosion overtime, especially with this type of investment. For that, I stay away from this type of investment.

I’m going to release them on a Patreon sometime in June or July but the free version is in the description of this video! With the tutorial included. (This is for a general portfolio dashboard and doesn’t have some of the features in this video). Hope this helps 👍 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rrdgfdt3u9vDaIU.htmlsi=qMGpNsDFbJbB-uRp
