I've been thinking a lot about unhealthy hobbies lately, which is why I decided to talk about how my relationship with writing has changed in two decades. I hope this video helps you rethink how you view your hobbies so you can enjoy them in a healthy, fun way.

I have not published my book yet, but I have been learning plenty of things that improved my ideas. If I had published, I wouldn’t come up with details that feels fitting. For instance: • Main character learns different fighting styles with different advantages, even know how military stuff works. • Main Villain can be cartoony, yet, a bit believable if the motivation and concept can make sense. It takes so much time to research before readying myself to write, and I took a lot of time developing my characters while maintaining what I found from the internet.

It has been YEARS since I’ve watched one of your videos (back when there were like 15 people on your discord server😂) and I’m so glad I clicked on this one. First of all, I am so happy for you - congratulations on the pregnancy- that’s so lovely! As per usual, you’re still glowing 🎉 Second of all, I think this video is a literal miracle for me right now. For the past three years I’ve been in a writing block and I’ve gotten really depressed because of it. It sounds so pathetic to say I couldn’t write, because all my life I was “the writer” (literally as you put it). When I picked up a totally different major, I literally decided to not call myself a writer or an artist anymore. Just a student, a friend, a sister, a daughter, etc. I said to myself, I want to be able to live so I can experience for what I write. Yeah, that was so bullshit lol. Recently (as in the past few months), I’ve tried little by little to get back to drafting up some stuff - a little bit of fanfic here and there, some plot to a script I’ve had in my head - nothing crazy. But I MISS the young girl who had so much PASSION in her. I miss that love, that thrill I got when I wrote. Perhaps, I might get it back, perhaps not. Maybe I just need to make a new relationship with writing that will attach me so securely to the act as it once did when I was younger. I hope so ❤ Thank you again for this wonderful video ❤❤❤ Wishing you only the absolute best!!

I only started writing this year because video games became boring for me at the end of last. This channel has been such a great help. Tbh I still kinda feel like an outsider because my whole life I was always like "I'm not a creative type. I like science". But now I want to write at least 9 stories lol tho idk if they will all be novels. Rn I'm editing my 1st novella and by the end it may be 60k+ word novel. We shall see after future edits, post beta reading
