I’m delighted that in my last friendship I was more careful. There was so much empathy! So much being on my side, wanting me to confide in them. But I noticed how they’d scan my face when I was answering their questions, I felt the overly saccharine responses, I saw the early micro aggressions that seemed to come out of nowhere, I noticed when they copied liking what I liked, using the same sentence structure. Most of all I’ve learned that when a person feels ‘false’ it’s rarely covering something good.

This was me. But Bens work together with the insights from Dr.Ramanis channel helped me get away from my manipulativ ex. Very interesting how you describe this special level of trust which the narcissist builds to get you trapped emotionally. Now I see it. But at that time I felt it was a deep connection!😱

My ex is a Prince Charming Narc. Within the first 6 weeks of us dating he held my hands and looked at me in my eyes, with his full of care and concern, and said to me.. usually by this time, people trust me alot more...maybe something is wrong and you have mental health issues and should look into therapy...😢😢 That was one of his first red flags... lol covert nars are more like death by a thousand cuts
