Lebron James literally puts kids through college. He's paying full scholarships for 800 students to go to 4 years tuition at The University of Akron, Ohio. His foundation bought a huge several thousand square foot venue in Akron and formed a community center, called it House Three Thirty, and provides free financial literacy advice, job training, and recreation for Akron kids. The place is open to anyone from Akron. He built a school called "I Promise" in Ohio. And during the Pandemic when some people in his town were struggling to afford meals, Lebron paid for meals for the entire families of 340 students for quite some time. I do find it amusing that when i read his name mentioned in a Daily Mail article (usually Liverpool related) it's full of British based commenters of the conservative variety spewing hate of various varieties toward him. As if i somehow shouldn't respect a guy that never went to college yet focuses so much charitable work on educating the poor and fighting for the rights of people. Sorry, he's pretty widely loved and respected in the U.S.

LeBron really does merit respect for all of his community endeavors (especially the school which is just awesome). He is without a doubt one of the more charitable athletes out there. W/ that said, great video topic, awful video. That narrator couldn't have been any more annoying if he tried.

A couple miles from me, here in New Jersey, is the nicest, most difficult, and most exclusive golf course in the world. Pine Valley. Up until 2021, women were not allowed to be members. They could only play the course on Sundays, and they weren't allowed to own homes on the property. If they had a home there with their husband and he died, they had one year to move out. Fortunately, they changed that, but only because the state was pressing a suit.
