Welcome to the start of the journey.... My discovery to learning how to be happy in the moment and to learn to be grateful for the little things started with a sermon by pastor Joel Olsteen. Do a lookup of him on here. You'll find him easily enough. That was years ago. It took years. I'm still working on it. While I'm a thousand miles from where I started, I'm sure I'll still be working on it in years to come. Something will happen and you'll slip. But it's about the effort. It's about perspective. Someone like you may think you need to appreciate things more. From my perspective, I saw in the first 10 seconds of your video how much you should be grateful. Nice house. Nice furnishings. No roommates. Expensive coffee machine. Money to buy ANOTHER expensive cup of coffee. A car. And you're not even 30. God blessed you with these things. And that's more than good enough for me. We all have our own, unique paths. I also know that I have it pretty good compared to lots of others. Especially in New York City. And I pray to God with every meal about the blessings. That I HAVE a meal. A safe and decent place to live. Other things. Every meal. And there are people who wish they have what I have and so on.... But yes, living in the moment and acknowledging the blessings you have and ones you experience during the day, that you are alive to acknowledge them, will help anyone live a more fulfilling life. Heck, I am grateful for someone motioning me to go ahead of them at the grocery line because I have less items than they do. Or opening the door for me for no apparent reason. If someone is reading this, they probably have more to be grateful for than they think. Lovely video 🙏🏻

It is only when we understand, we need to change/look at things differently not anyone else the real hard work begins on ourselves. Today i decieded for once to reflect how much i appreciated my day and the people around me .The best thing is benchmark of today was not high but not low and will easily be beaten Tomorrow 😂 lol .my goal is to remind myself each day to be thankful for the day and people i come into contact with. Thanks for a packed video of thoughts that has helped me go well instead of thinking about it for the last 5 years and saying we should all do that .lets give it a go each day with small baby steps.
