MAZZ 777 Naturals when you would wash your hair weekly did you get your hair retwisted? if so did you feel like it’s a waste of a retwist. That’s a reason I try to push for 2 to 3 weeks cause I’m like mannnn I just got my hair retwisted lols.

@Homie lol 😆 I hear what you are saying about getting the most out of your Retwist......when I washed it weekly I didn’t used to Retwist as I work out so the Retwist didn’t last long anyway it sweated out. Also I was on a Semi Freeforming journey where I didn’t Retwist my hair for a whole year!!! It was the best thing I did for my Locs. I’m kinda going to not Retwist again for a few months. I loved the flexibility of washing my hair when I wanted to and not stressing about retwisting every time hope that answers your question. 😊

Fernando Costa think of dreads like a door....stuff only gets in if you let it. They are so tightly compact dirt dust etc dosent get in as easy as natural hair allowing you to go longer without a wash . Of course when u sweat it sits on top of your hair but it doesnt go any further than the scalp unlike straight hair which gets sweatier all aroundif that makes sense....Even people with natural hair should only wash once a week, so you can let ur natural oils build up and protect ur scalp. Your hair adapts to your routine so thats why mrtae dosent have to use the shampoo as freequent. Im sure if he trained his hair/scalp he could go 2 months no wash(but thats where it starts to get a lil gross lol) i also use to wash everyday but the dread life has me doing every 2 weeks . Fernando Costa as I stated in the video when I had the issue with my hair I was washing more often once I got it under control I am now able to go once a month. For you comment about Locs being clean I can understand if you are very active and sweat a lot you may won’t to wash more often but if you like some one like me that is sitting down most of the day you don’t have the same issue. Once a month is long enough. I soundly suggest going any longer but that’s just how I do. You can wash whenever.
