I just started using wild growth hair oil on my locs, bread and eyebrows 3 days ago. Don't use a lot. My locs and beard looked gray after using it but it didn't take long for it to go back into my natural hair color. It left a nice shine to it. Everyone talks about how bad it seems but I actually didn't think the smell was bad at all. I liked it.

I use cantu and pink moisturizer everyday and shampoo my dreads weekly. I went to the saloon for the first time and they hated my 2 year free form dreads. They said my hair was super dry damaged maybe needed to cut it. They did a vinegar detox deep conditioner and retwisted and brought my hair back to life. They sold me that oil I just used it for first time. I’m really new to how to take care of my dreads.

Cantù has alcohol in it and it dries your hair out so that’s probably part of the problem

Sariyah and mommy’s world M keep at it. As Mr Tae Love said it takes times. Make sure to keep it wrapped at night with a silk scarf or bonnet. Keep at it and stay loc’d. It will be highs and lows but the wait and outcome once it is loc’d is well worth it.
@Mekaa_ZaZa4 жыл бұрын
_KingDynasty yea see I don’t even wrap it 🤦🏾♀️ but I will after the retwist
@DynastyVisualsTV4 жыл бұрын
Sariyah and mommy’s world M do that so it stays intact and last longer and eliminate as much frizz as possible. Always maintain them as long as possible and stretch the retwist you just got. That way you can also take tension off your roots/scalp. The locking process does take some time, but the budding means that your locs are maturing and coming into to form. Stay loc’d it’s a beautiful process trust me.

@newjersey-thesupertrucker4 жыл бұрын
@@MrTaeLove Sorry bro I don't believe that at all. You have to keep your scalp healthy especially with sister locks because if you don't those little things would dry up and break off like crazy. If you don't use some type of oil on your scalp and locks your hair would be dry and dandruff would build up etc. Natural oils or pure aloe n distilled water are the best products you can use in locks. I don't see someone not using anything and having a healthy shiny set of locks and healthy scalp.
