What have you done to freshen up your car during lockdown?

I pulled the front seat belts fully out of the door, closed it, and used a pressure washer to clean them. They were silver again in 30 seconds. 👍

That's a great idea, if it works it works! I wouldn't fancy trying to jet wash the rear belts though 😂

@@BritishRacingGreens 😂 yeah, no chance. Luckily the rears had hardly been used, and were still silver not bronze.

@@BritishRacingGreens can apply same to rears, just remove lower anchor, pull them out the boot and shut it. Then jet wash away

@@coopsturbo Where there's a will there's a way! To be honest, the elbow grease made light work of the rear belts because they weren't too dirty to start with.

The maguires headlight restoration kit would be a good shout here, its about £15-20ish and does an amazing job of restoring the headlights (which for xenons are real expensive to replace)

I mask the grill in the front and spray them with high heat black spray paint.....its meant for exhausts....no primer needed.....that back to black doesnt last long.....comes off after a few washes

Wet/dry and polish the lights, cheap and effective way to restore the look of the front

I picked it up in Halfords, only £5, it's called 'black in a flash'. I'm sure there are better, more expensive alternatives, but on a budget it did the job.

With my silver seat belts I pulled the fronts fully out, kept it from retracting with a bulldog clip, then left them in a bucket of vanish for an hour then jet wash off. Like new again without the human slime. 😂
