And yeah, AC is a must have, contrary to what people say. I'd rather have the extra weight and enjoy the car and, rather than cooking in it. That’s very kind! Love the lotus community 🙌🏻 if I wasn’t with my finance I’d definitely take you up on that offer sounds dreamy, but after 9 hours in the car today, I think she’d prefer to not hear any more about Lotus’s and we’re straight off to Cotignac in the morning. @@BritishRacingGreens Oh also when you're near the French/Swiss border, you can make a stop at the "Mont d'Or" point of view near Metabief to see a cool view into Switzerland and at the "Lac de Saint Point" to stretch your legs. Also there is the the "Dent de Vaulion" near the "Lac de Joux" with some breathtaking views of the lake (maybe you're already going there, the blue line that shows your route is a bit wide ahah) Or even more South you have the "Col de la Faucille" with an amazing view above the "Lac Léman" and the "Mont Blanc". Aim for Gex and go up, and then either go to Mijoux to then see the "Lac de Vouglans" and then go the "Belvédère des 4 lacs", or go to Les Rousses to go straight to the "Belvédère". In Martigny CH, you have the Fondation Pierre Granada with amazing art and car collection. And in Sion cool castles to see.

As you might have seen in more recent videos, this fix ended up failing. The issue with the headlining is that the foam breaks down so simply re-sticking as I did will only ever be temporary. I have all the gear to sort properly so may do this weekend, I’ll update shortly on the materials I use.

Now even if it’s not legal I’m different countries. I would still upgrade to led bulbs to see better and be seeing better. Realize that modern vehicles equipped with led on projector or reflector, and in low beams they produce between 30W-34W And high beams between 40W-44.5W. I would not be safe with halogens at all. It’s not bright enough and not safe enough. I definitely recommend Lasfit - LC plus - 25W per bulb 2500 lumens per bulb. Lasfit - LA plus - 30W per bulb, 3000 lumens per bulb. Auxito - M3 - 25W per bulb 2500 lumens per bulb. Or Auxito - Y13 - 40W per bulb, 4000 lumens per bulb. If u see something that’s 10,000,15,000,20,000 lumens. It’s a completely lie. The phone will automatically adjust its settings in an effort to produce a similar level of brightness. It most likely masked the differences between the lights to an extent, and would explain why the sky on the left looks lighter. Better way to do this would be to use a DSLR or any camera that allows you to manually adjust and lock aperture, exposure, shutter speed and ISO and lock them.

I always preferred the looks of the S2 too and having bumped into (figuratively) a mildly tuned S3 at a petrol station, I also agree that the sound was far more exciting. That said, don't underestimate how addictive the supercharger sound is on an S2 in the cabin. I haven't had many issues with attention, there was one occasion where I saw a group of people having a photo shoot by the car (basically twerking on it), but apart from that it's only been positive, people are often curious more than anything.

you might find that the poor radio signal is due to the head unit needing one of the cable/antenna add on's that came in the box you unpacked, there did some an awful lot of extra cables.
@BritishRacingGreens
@BritishRacingGreens 2 ай бұрын
I did look into that (there are a lot of wires!) but I don’t think there’s anything in the box to help out. A relatively brief investigation suggests that it’s related to the body being fibreglass rather than metal, which impacts any head unit with no simple fix. Spotify it is.

Worthwhile at least. Headlining has sagged unfortunately, serves me right for doing a quick job! The roof was leaking a bit and the headlining got very wet which didn’t help, I’ve since sorted the window alignment and it’s stayed a lot dryer. I was thinking about properly sorting the headlining this weekend, stripping it back and adhering new fabric, but the weather hasn’t been conducive to roof-off type work 🌧️ Appreciate the newsletter sign-up 🙌🏻, hopefully there’s something in there tomorrow of interest!
