The oldest portion of the Vedas, that is, the Rgveda, was composed outside India. ( in the Caucasus) The remaining portions, that is, the Yajurveda and Atharvaveda, were partly Indian and partly non-Indian. The claim that Rigveda is more than 21K years old is astounding. Wikipedia says that the Vedic religion developed in northwestern region of India(1500-1100 BCE), but has roots in Eurasian Steppe Sintashta culture (2200-1800 BCE), Central Asian Andronovo culture (2000-900 BCE), and Indus Valley Civilisation (2600-1900 BCE). It was a composite of the religion of the Central Asian Indo-Aryans, which borrowed "distinctive religious beliefs and practices" from the Bactria-Margiana culture and the remnants of the Harappan culture of the Indus Valley. It is strange that your claim of Rigveda 20K old as against 2K remains a controversy.

sir i have a question which is you have given geological and hydrological as well astronomical evidences to your datings of the insidents mentions in our scriptures from writing of vedas to Mahabharat war but as far as history and archeology is concerned are their any evidences which can prove that the kind of civilization mentioned in ramayana, Mahabharata and other scriptures did existed before 10000 bce? because if we read history then we know that agriculture only developed after end of ice age that means after 10000 bce in fact most historians say it is around 8000 bce.

That means the Saraswati -Sindhu civilization is post -mahabharata civilization. Hence, indus script must be some form of sanskrit?

Can I conclude RIG VEDA Older than 2 lakhs year...but astrological events do repeat itself so as the Geological , so in my opinion I believe in my Vedas and according to vedas the very 1st bhagwat sermon happened 1.87 crore years ago which includes Ramayan and Mahabharata and interpret that by then Ramayan happened 11 times and Mahabharata 16 times and the Ramayan you are talking about was 18th...so we existed before then also in another galaxy before pralay.
