Life is short, can be the name you and Lee need to name the book you desperately need to write for the public! Write that book! What a benefit for everyone but to have in hospitals, rehabilitation places! Your story needs to be told!

I learned the lesson of worrying about being silly or embarrassing when I was in the hospital in January of this year. I had a seizure, silent UTI that made me go bonkers for 24 hours before being taken to ER where I had a seizure. I was then transported from SE Kansas to KC Missouri to another ER and hospital stay for neurological testing. While there my son was with me the entire time and he says I was so silly and uninhibited he was tickled to see my walls come down. I don't remember but bits and pieces. Anyway, since then I do not care what people think of me. I am me if I want to wear bright pink pants and a bright, glittery flamingo shirt, by golly I am going to do it and smile and laugh all the way !! Proud of you Kristy (sp?) ...another Kristy here !!❤

Oh my gosh! I am so glad you got through that! I went into sepsis too from a silent UTI a few years ago, I didn't have seizures or anything but they said I may have died if I waited another day to go to the ER. I had a 105 fever, I felt TERRIBLE and was for a couple weeks because I thought it was a flu but wasn't getting better

@peachxtaehyung I'll be 67 in April and I was told that us "older" people can get the silent UTIs more easily. I now drink cranberry juice and it yogurt on a daily basis hoping that prevents another episode like that one !! I has Sepsis with Pneumonia years ago. My family was scared spitless , as my Daddy used to say !! Lol !!

Christy, your story has always amazed me. You're a fighter in every sense of the word. You and Lee melt my heart. It's very hard to be by someone's side unless you really understand what they're going through. Lee understands you and loves you more than anyone else in this world,

Hey Christy my grandmother taught me as a young child not to care about what Anyone Thinks of me and I’ve taken that and lived that All my life so yes it’s a great way to live life!!

Lee talking about anger management my husband could use that . He is very hard of hearing and he yells. It used to hurt me and like Christy I’d bawl. But now if he yells I yell back and we get tickled. Since my heart attack last April he has become somewhat more sensitive. He keeps saying I could have lost you. You two are perfect for one another . I loved watching Bailey looking at Lee and taking in everything he said . Hope you have a wonderful weekend ❤

Can i just say i LOVE Lee?! And how he looks at you? I really hope to find a man like him and that's as understanding as he is. You're lucky girl. I mean yeah he's trained as he was a paramedic like you were but still. I believe this is just who he REALLY is. I just needed to say that. Ok gonna finish the video now 💖

Lee is so cute. I love it when he is on with you. I was an accountant and knew zero about medical things. Then I was diagnosed with stage 3B Inflammatory Breasr Cancer in 2007 when the 5 year survival rate was 7-12%. And 10 years later I was diagnosed with high grade urothelial renal cell carcinoma and had to have chemotherapy AGAIN. I have learned more medical information Thani ever wanted to know. I am much more laid back about things now, but my husband is so stressed about everything, everyday. I wish that he would learn to chill. Y’all are great. Love your Chanel.

1:31 you've never once made me feel bad about where I am in my recovery. You've actually helped me realize that everyone's recovery is going to be different and I appreciate that so much! ❤ I can relate so much to not wanting to embarrass myself and being an introvert because of that but I'm also a lot better. Who gives a crap anymore, lol. I've said this before but I'm glad you're still here. Lee talking about that got me teary eyed. About having no one else to blame for your wreck, I think forgiving ourselves can sometimes be harder than forgiving others. Thank y'all for both sharing your perspectives with us! Since turning 50 my give a dam went out the window. Like going to Lake camping wearing tank tops i would never show my arms. No one cares if i have tank top on. I had few bad hang ups not anymore. You got you a good one. He is a good husband. I've been married 22 yr together 25. I have a keeper also. ❤

I understand that about anger management issues lee. My dad had that and so did his dad, idk if there was anything like that before my dads dad in the family but yeah, being raised by someone with anger management issues is very hard sometimes. Now today before my dad passed i was much closer to my mom because i was constantly afraid of making him mad. He wasnt abusive or anything but he was get angry alot and complain etc

They were intimal tears (I believe is what they told me) meaning that it was the inner lining of those vessels that tore, but the outermost part (fortunately) held on.
