I am so happy for you! Your last video about how it helps you was the one that convinced me to fire my current Endo and find another one, who is giving me my first dose today!! I am in perimenopause and had no idea how it was affecting my bs and had zero mention by my previous doctor who I should have fired a long time ago! Thank you for your content!! Perimenopause has driven my insulin resistance big time. Some key tools in my arsenal: exercise, afrezza and Metformin - and learning from other T1Ds! My old endo said, “You’re a woman, it’s only going to get worse.” That’s when I pulled the plug. A great move!🎉

You can have type 2 if you have type 1! These conditions may share a root word but they are mutually exclusive conditions! One is an insulin production disorder (type 1) and one is an insulin resistance disorder (type 2). They are completely different disease states.

hi! may i ask why you don't try Tirzepatide, which affects glycogen. i'm hoping might prevent dangerous lows of a relative with T1

*But Ginger,* Ozempic is supposed to cut down the livers excretion of unneeded sugar… Like in the morning’s ‘dawn effect’ but why didn’t it help you on your 6 mile run when your sugar catapulted to 290?

My BG used to spike 100 points AS SOON as I woke up in the morning. My run started at 9am. I'd already been awake for 3 hours and I'd skipped breakfast. It can suppress your liver glucose completely. My blood sugar spiked because of ADRENALINE, not dawn phenomenon. Ozempic cannot stop adrenaline's message to your liver.
