@@joshtaylor6466 How is pointing out the roots of BBQ political gas lighting? I bet you’d even argue that BBQ in the Carolinas that evolved into what we know today doesn’t have roots in slavery. Also, you’d probably argue that Ashkenazi Jews didn’t influence our love of smoked brisket….that’d probably make someone like you really uncomfortable. I miss the BBQ Pitmaster show that was on TV many years ago. This lady reminds me of those excellent Pitmaster's and it is a joy to watch someone do it so good. I have been up all night many a times smoking meats & cooking for a family get together the next day. Doing this on Christmas eve is one of the best times for me. Working on our deck by the pond with all the lights with a great drink for the evening. Shalom

I have to say one thing that always gets me, “I’m a woman why wouldn’t I be able to be a pitmaster” the same people that say she can’t, would also be the same people that say women belong in the kitchen. If you have the passion for whatever you do don’t listen to anyone. The fact you have passion is all the drive you need to take you where you need and what to go!!
