The Miraidon “stood there” because it has terra blast and hyper beam. Because it wasn’t terrastrialized, terra blast is normal type, but also it only sees the kill with two normal type moves, and Annilape is part ghost, so no damage.

Nothing beats when it clicks for a new player after they finally overcome the 4th rival with Rayquaza... and realize that there is only one way to step it up from that when there is more floors to go. When it sinks it that the Mega is coming... with boss HP

I can actually make this case for her here- If Torchic could outspeed the Pikipek, the swap would reset the Overheat stat drops! (At least I’m pretty sure I remember that being the case)

My inclination as a youtube frog is to assume that this is in the early days of its release the default was the hidden abilities and not the normal abilities. I suspect the change was made to create more replayability (and difficulty) later. Not 100% certain though because by the time I started playing they were the normal abilities.

Man this game is something else. Just yesterday I barely finished classic and have like 1 shiny and 1 legendary pokemon. Now I'm in Endless using a level 25.000 Kyogre in floor 2300 having SSS luck, 5 red shiny, 10 blue shiny, 100+ regular shiny, and around 30 legendary mons. What happened to me man?😭
