I am 52 from Chicago. When I was a kid, the goal was to not go to jail. By the time I was 25, it seemed that you got credit for going to jail as opposed to not. Ninjas that went to jailed was seen as not on their thang.

Crazy this popped up on my feed but I was told that by my stepdad “you need to go to prison it’ll make a man out you”. How did you get out of that mindset?
