Excuse me, my dad was a refugee from a pretty bad situation, so I and my sisters must count as "second generation". We are all grateful to Britain for giving our dad a refuge and we are very proud to be British. Please don't generalise in such an unfair way.

Incredible stories of hardship, courage and love. We are all so lucky that organsiations like the refugee council exist in most countries around the world. We can all do our individual parts too to help. The smallest kindness can make a huge difference for those those at risk. 💚

And these people all started to contribute to the societies where they found their new home, enriching these societies with their own unique perspectives, ideas, culture, traditions, insights... A society that rejects new comers, that turns inwards is a society that rejects the very essence of its existence, it rejects life itself. Refugees Welcome!
