Here in Florida we have a huge problem with many invasive fish, reptile and bird species. We also have invasive Lionfish off our coasts. All these animals can be turned into dishes for people to consume on a regular, which will allow native species to bounce back.

The fisheries collapsed due to overfishing with the big giant fishing boats that happened starting in the 1960s. Just think about some of the boats that China puts out that are giant corporate boats that fish and they do not come in until 2 years after they've set sail They never even see shore. The ones that go for squid it makes me sick. The people are usually slaves if they get sick and they can't work they don't get paid If they get off early because it's so monotonous and horrible and hours are really bad that you don't want to hear this because you won't read it they don't get paid If there's an emergency they don't get paid so basically their bodies are thrown overboard if they have to be flown back to the mainland cuz they're sick they just throw them overboard because they don't want to bring the boat back to shore until the end of the two years The smaller boats come up and bring them fuel some food but not much because they take out 2 years worth of canned crap They might have some fresh food that might be brought on but mostly they just live off of canned stuff and it's pretty bad I just saw a true crime one about it and yeah I guess it's okay they're they're fishing in international waters but I'm trying to think of how can the squid repopulate when they're fishing like that? And now we are fishing for krill well krill is the food that the whales need a lot of the shrimp need etc and I'm thinking why are we getting krill so we can take it as a vitamin? This is the basic building block for the whales and the fish and we are stealing their food so we can take it and throw bottles and bottles of it away because it has expiration dates and half of it gets rancid or gets ruined or whatever it is and I can guarantee you that half the krill is not picked up by American fisherman because all of those people went bankrupt in the '80s in America because they were put out of business by gigantic fishing fleets & boats from Asia. So you want to know but everybody wants to blame America or Western Civilization but we honestly got beat by other countries that don't follow fishing laws.
