Okay, so I know I've said this before, but it is just so enjoyable to watch y'all's interaction. Your friendship is so wholesome and it's fantastic. Looking forward to see how you handle the evaluation and what training recommendations you get. Cheers.

I'm with Di; I hate strength training and I've always been a little unsure of how to start doing it more seriously. I've seen several lattice assessment vids from different channels now and it's great to see one with (a) women and (b) people who aren't adding 20+ kg to their pull-ups. Makes me think there's hope for a mid-level climber like myself!

Lattice is the best training company in the UK. "Catalyst enters the scene"

I feel like Catalyst is smaller, and as such more personal training options? At this point Lattice has pretty much gone global, and (combined with Wide Boyz) has a much broader offering in the app, tools, wide variety of videos and information available and even equipement to go with it all. Plus years and years of statistics. Would probably choose Catalyst if I lived nearby and could get personal coaching in a gym, but from a different country Lattice is definitely the way to go.

God, I needed this laugh so badly. Getting back to climbing feels a bit stressful and this really took the weight off (no pun intended).

Thanks for the great video! Interesting that women don’t train as much as men - I delayed strength training because I thought training technique would help elevate my climbing faster. Not sure if I was right, but by focusing on technique, I did level up quickly and I naturally became stronger, without strength training. That being said, since I’ve been strength training (a little over a month) I’ve noticed my endurance and power improve pretty quickly.

I think technique training is more important as a low grade/new climber, and as you get better training strength becomes more important. I also started with a focus on technique and recently switched to strength (v6 climber) so I'm there with you. Keep it up!

I'm the same, because I hate strength training, I mostly focused on technique but I've found that there's only so much technique has got. There are times I know I have to do something but my lack in strength makes me fall off the wall 😂 so it's time for some strength training! Di x

Im pretty new to climbing but have been watching this channel for a long time. Idk why but I had just assumed you both could do pull-ups and it is so inspiring to see that you guys (way stronger than me still) are working on getting your pull ups and are still really great climbers. Makes it feel like I stand a chance and that it’s okay to start out without having much upper body strength.
